Tony Stark/Iron Man. Not coming back without multiverse shenanigans.
Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars is all about multiversal shenanigans, so with what we know so far, the possibility that they're adapting the *SPOILERS*Demon in an Armor storyline could be a distinct possibility.

Its not even necessarily that story. Doom and Tony have a long history of playing off one another as ways of exploring the good and bad sides of arrogance and genius.
Fundamentally, everying about Doom in Secret Wars is present in the MCU version of Tony. In Secret Wars, Doom is a man who sees a threat to existence itself and decides that he's the only person smart enough to stop it. His plan is ultimately monstrous and self serving, but its exactly the kind of things the MCU Tony would have done without people like Pepper and Steve to rein him in.

This is such a bizarre fence to ride, and I don't understand the deification of Chadwick. John Hurt died and they had NO qualms about replacing him with another actor, so there's no reason they couldn't just recast T'challa.
It’s the social importance of Black Panther, 2018.
Was he the first black lead superhero? No. (Best of my knowledge, Spawn, 1997)
Was the first Marvel black lead superhero? No (Blade 1998).
But the vision of Wakanda, brought to screen by a predominantly black cast and crew, with literal Tolkien White Guys, and Afro Futurism? Black Panther is the best known example.
I’m not gonna spank on about it, as I’m not only very white, but also very Scottish. But for the black folks in my team, pod and office? That film was special.
And Chadwick Boseman’s portrayal was a decent chunk of that.
If he’d quit the role? Sure, recast away, not a problem for me. But that he delivered his performances as T’challa, whilst battling the same cancer that would take his life just makes him feel special.
And, given Black Panther has always been a mantle rather than a specific man? Simply recasting was never necessary.

I don't think Tony actually does need multiverse shenanigans. What if he just has a memory backup of himself hiding on his secret server. He could be like a Ghost in the Machine, almost like a Tony version of Jarvis. The could use some tech to clone a new body, and viola, Tony's back

If the comics are anything to go by, that hologram Ruri boots up in the trailer may be exactly that....

In the comics, Tony Stark was literally the suit for a while with a blue hologram head when he took the helmet off.
Also, the comics are notorious for bringing back the dead. Deadpool #0 had a cloning facility that was cranking out Aunt Mays and Uncle Bens.... sans clothing.
In Marvel 616, you have to be unpopular for you to stay dead, just ask Ant-man/Scott Lang's daughter Cassie (Stature). She got a suit and then bought the farm, never to be seen again.
Anyone want to guess where I worked when I was younger?
Finished Dare Devil: Born Again yesterday. I have to say I'm really impressed with the way they wove in the prior shows but still advanced it to slip more easily into the main universe.
Did not expect that level of violence on a Disney+ show that came with that final episode but glad they aren't shying away from it when it's appropriate.
Overall it's one of the better MCU shows that they've done. The side by side of Fisk and Murdock both walking hand in hand from trauma to reborn was very well done.
A little sad that it wasn't at least moderately self contained but lord is season two going to be insane!

“Doomsday” is now set to debut on Dec. 18, 2026, moving about seven months off of its originally slated date of May 1, 2026. To match, the follow-up “Avengers: Secret Wars” is moving its release to Dec. 17, 2027, after previously being set for May 7, 2027.
They've also removed several untitled Marvel projects from the calendar

You would have to blame that on the creators of the comic book.
Which I would say is a weak argument since they've shown to completely disregard the source material for a lot of origin stories for the MCU, so it's weird that they've chosen to keep that aspect.
Also, I don't remember her funding her heroing by doing crime in the comics, at all? She makes an armor by using the MIT resources, freaks out and flees, and a little while after Tony Stark meets and endorses her.
Just watched Captain America Brave New World now it's on streaming. It's definitely a movie.
It felt like 2 hours of treading water while they try to get to the next big villain in the series. Every character seems like a budget replacement for someone else. We've got budget Cap, budget Black Widow, budget Falcon, even budget Hulk. Then there's the poorly developed villain. It all just seems so empty.
I like Sam's version of Cap, but he suffers from not being as charismatic as Steve Rogers.
The big problem with this movie for me was that it was primarily just about Sam figuring out that he actually is good enough to be Captain America... But we already had that story in Bucky and the Birdman.

I thought the difference between Bucky and the Birdman and Brave New World is that in the former Sam is acting as a private citizen in a patriotic suit and in the latter he's running around mostly officialish with government endorsement, integration into the armed forces and all that.
Not the best movie ever made nor the worst, as far as I'm concerned. I suppose its main function is to wrap up a bunch of things from earlier movies. And remind us that Eternals actually happened.
Nehekhara lives! Sort of!
Why is the rum always gone?
Meanwhile, apparently test screenings of the new Fantastic Four movie say that Galactus is 'Terrifying' and that his look is lifted straight from the comics.
I'm... not sure how those two things can both be true, but I'm keen to find out.
Caught Brave New World myself over the weekend and it was honestly a lot better than I expected. It definitely suffers more than anything else from being a movie where all the payoff was spoiled and you instead get a lot of build up to something you've already seen. I honestly don't think the Sidewinder stuff was worth the delay as this would have worked so much better post Eternals and the D+ series without the end being spoiled, but even a year late I found it on the better side of decent.
I think the biggest issue with the film is just the supporting cast. When Ford is on screen he absolutely commands things, leaving Cap himself feeling like the supporting role. Without him though, the new Falcon and Widowish crew doesn't really give Sam enough to work with.
You're definitely left wondering if this could have been a Hulk movie or if there could have been a stronger central theme to tie it together. I liked the political thriller angle overall and the movie does a pretty stellar job keeping things grounded while a bird man fights over a god's corpse. So, not a home run. A lot of missed potential but not without its merits either. C+? B-?

They did make a good trailer, though, the first time around. Then they followed it up with this one, which adds nothing interesting and makes it seem like (as with Brave New World) they are once again wasting time retreading personal growth already covered in a previous story.
Yikes. I thought the first trailer already was bad enough, but Riri not only has to nick Stark's tech but now she's also hood robbing magic into her armour too? At this point we're lucky the infinity stones are still gone or she'd have somehow stolen them to power her suit too.
I'm not super familiar with the comic character but what I did run across don't recall her dabbling in sorcery. Is everyone doing Dr. Strange things these days?
Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

I'm not sure if she in particular has, but its not at all an uncommon theme for Iron Man stories. The main reason the Mandarin was traditionally Tony's arch rival was that he challenged his technology with magic and a lot of his stories would result in Tony approaching magic with a scientific approach and win the day by incorporating it into his tech. It's also effectively Dr Doom's motif, so they may be building something there.
