Basically, the new Legions of Nagash...
Yeah, looks like Vampire Counts are getting an AoS makeover.
From your lips to Nagash's ear... holes... thingies.

Do you come from a realm down under?
Where Aelves glow and Grots plunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear Sigmar's thunder?
You better run, you better take cover
I'd imagine so. Picture looks legit, the mace was in a recent rumor engine, etc. And since it's already in a clampack, it's not like it's going to be a Warhammer quest model that get's left without a faction once they inevitably rebox it. We've seen quite a few teases that hint at vampires and zombies coming, beyond things like Warhammer Underworld, so Soulblight are finally getting their due. Though, I'm surprised they stuck with soulblight. I don't mind the name, but they usually drop the original faction name they came up with
Isn't soulblight the AoS term for vampirism? A vampire is soul blighted(?) like a big green bloke is an Orruk.
I still maintain that soulblight would have been a better name for nighthaunt and vice versa.
What is a ghost? A soul.
When are vampires active? At night.
It writes itself!

Or the name of a Mortarch. Invitations like that used to be to 'introduce' people to society, if I remember right?
I doubt they thought that hard about it.
You might be surprised at how hard the Community team thinks for stuff like that.
The bat icon looks like a faction symbol as well.
Agreed.
Plus Soulblight already have a couple of Mortarchs, not that I'd complain at seeing Abhorash.
There are two Mortarchs who happen to be Soulblight, yes. Neferata is the Mortarch of Blood and Mannfred is the Mortarch of Shadow. When Nighthaunt got introduced as their own faction, they received the Mortarch of Grief. That's what I'm thinking might happen here--a Mortarch that might be less 'Big Name' than the existing two Vampires.

I'm assuming the blocked out words are Warhammer Quest!
And 'Ulfenkarn' sounds like 'Wolfen Cairn' - Wolf Stone/Mound/Grave, a cool name of a castle where a band of adventurers would be invited to for a dinner ... By a vampire lord!!

So this seems to imply that the foot from a few rumor engines back is also a bat person, not a crypt ghoul. And yes, all the soulblight seem to have a habit of standing on terrain and rocks

This is a Rumor Engine bit. It's not necessarily related to Saturday...please keep it there. Thread's already getting crowded enough and we're only on Tuesday!

Same - looks she has gone a bit feral but still has time to have her bats do her hair - cos she is worth it ;0
I like that they are doing something other than horses as mounts.
