That's not a leap of logic. It's idle speculation. But nah, take a dig at me like I'm a crazy person, for whatever reason you have.

I’m not actually convinced it’s a sisters tank.

If you look at the outline it looks more like a Primaris Lieutenant sitting on a cardboard box

So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

More Zombies, excellent. I was not a fan of all the zombies having the Tombstone on them.

Very cool, more evidence toward Soulblight.

Boo for quoting the lyrics and not the Vincent Price monologue, just for the coincidence of 'the funk of 40,000 years'

I really hope those are rat tails and not branches. Just think: zombies covered with mutant rats.

Price tag of upcoming zombie box?

Good ol' zombies finally getting an update.

We'll see how it goes, but this pretty much confirms the two things I was hoping to see in this: Sisters of Battle and Soulblight.

Since the zombies all have vines and roots, I feel like they'll have to redo the still fantastic corpse cart. May need to pick one up asap (especially if the new one turns out to be a $100+ center piece model)

Looking forward to seeing what they reveal for Sisters. I hope the tank looks cool. Sisters have always had such a limited vehicle pool.

Root zombies? I hope that's the extent of it. Cutting off roots is an easy enough fix. If they carry entire tree stumps on their back, that's a different matter.

They've already shown we're getting Redemptionists, so that's a pretty easy pick from that.

Still, these models will make great preachers/priests/missionaries/cultists in other factions.

Excited for any inquisitorial or cawdor goodness, and that Sisters tank looks like a nice design - as much as painting rhino chassis drives me insane, I love looking at all the variations haha - AND without anything too wacky and out-of-universe like the nundam walkers! <3

Kinda... worried about the zombies. While ya boi in the front may be holding a rat, it looks like his pals in the back do have... stuff??? coming out of them. Might be swirly gak, might be roots, might be whatever the hell those spikey bone/mushroom/horn things they had sprouting out of the poxwalkers was meant to be?
Spoiler:
Has anyone ever actually painted those things in a way that's like "ahh, yeah, no, that's what those protrusions were meant to be all along, I get it now, makes total sense"? Because I deadass have never. Bad design, that.

I would kill for just... Zombies. Like, 40k zombies, fantasy peasant zombies. Poxwalkers were such a swing and a miss for me - I loved the clothing, the improvised scrap weapons, the bloated bellies and rictus grins, but there was just too much there with the extra tentacles, bug hands, weird punch-o fist hands, and the nondescript spike thingies.
GW house style just zombies would be killer, I'm sure they could do a ton with details, and even customization if they put their minds to it, and really just blow their competitors out of the water in terms of quality, style and popularity.

Instead... are we gonna get Spookybranch Dreadhaunted FleshwalkersTM? With every 10th zombie in the zombie horde holding his rat? And like another every-10th-zombie with a shovel? Because it looks like they're going the IP protection route and it's just so safe and lame and disappointing.

To be fair, I think they're holding potatoes*, not rats.

*well, ok, or clods of earth pinned to their hands because of root systems. But I like the idea of potatoes for dead Samwise jokes.

Either way, you'll have choice. Hell, even just in boardgames, you find easily zombies. Zombies everywhere !

And I approve the Fireforge fantasy zombies. They look great next to other AoS miniatures

It's weird to me to be afraid of how these GW zombies will look...they're zombies, in the end. GW make plastic zombies anyway, so if you don't like vines coming out of some parts, there's nothing a good modelism knife can't fix.
