I am glad I put a second order for D&L2 just before the Kickstarter. This way I got my dragons with extra dragons and full stretchgoals. It arrived today so I am a happy whale spouting from my blowhole. Please do not shoot. The boxes are upstairs the stretchgoals for assembly, the dragons for distribution, even I don't need twenty dragons.
it is easy to see why Archon are dialling back, even though my second order was quite small, one Dragons Lair and one small dungeon set, it came with more extras than it did pledge.
For the record buying in a second pledge did not get me a second Jerry the Jello. So I am thinking that unless I use a second account, and likely a second bank account and delivery address I will not be able to get double Phoenix by adding a late order to D&L3.
Archon are tightening up on the giveaways, and we have already heard echoes of internal rumblings that they are giving too much away.
Deliveries are getting bigger even when I am paying less. Not compared to order one, not even close, but much bigger compared to D&L1 pledges at similar price point.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.
It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.
Speaking of whales, figure I'll add a couple of core sets to one of my pledges so I can justify rapid delivery and I can start fooling around with some panels asap.
The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.
You whales should post some pics of how you are storing all of this, I'm genuinely curious. I have my game materials spread out across 4 locations in 3 rooms with large-scale storage racks, and even I blush at picking up the amount of material you guys are picking up.

Wasn't Jerry the jello the early bird model? So far Archon haven't said anything about not getting the phoenix for late pledges. I think all those one model per backer models should be restricted to KS backers, but for the moment they are fair game to everyone. I think I might late pledge on top of my KS pledge with a different email address to get those one per backer models. It'll only cost me £10-15 extra for the postage, so seems worth it... Unless you consider the fact I have no use for duplicates of any of them!
I never really paid attention to Jerry until I got one.
So I must be confused over the eligibility. The current D&L2 page has no mention of the model except as a $10 extra, but likely the webpage changed information and eligibility messaging expired with eligibility.
I never had Lord Bulbo, but then I only late backed D&L1, though I did late back it twice.
I never cared for the model so I quite ignored whether I should have ever been eligible for it.
I find myself in agreement with MrPieChee, double Phoenix is only a technical curiosity mentioned for third parties. An armoured phoenix has nio real place in my collection, the giant is so specifically posed I will only want one, the troll and demon are ok but nothing to spam accounts for. Nubble is good but I have one of him coming.
The only one per backer item I would want to spam is the market stall and I wont to that as the stall itself is very busy and thus less versatile to spam unless I convert all the stuff hanging from it.
I will instead be investing in Mantic market stall products, which are generic enough and cheap enough I can make up a whole marketplace. I also have some STL's to try out.
So all in all I am simply not bothered to try and obtain more than one of anything.
It all depends on what the Phoenix looks like. If its a dud bird I will be giving mine away and relying on the GW kit, which I picked up on eBay a couple of months back and is on my RPG build list.

Funnily the armoured phoenix could be a totally sensible GW proxy as there it's part of an organized army, and the GW phoenix more of an RPGish free bird.

I have delayed assembly of the model for this exact reason.

Yep Thursday 3rd of June per the campaign page. They already had most of it built during the KS. They posted that they have a very small window to do rapid delivery for this KS before they have to focus on delivering Wolfenstein. If you don't want rapid delivery you can keep it open until near delivery next year. If you close out now that's it you can't add to that pledge again but you can late back to get another order.

The Pledge Manager will open this week, and if you don't get Rapid Delivery, you will receive everything in August 2022

Unlikely for anything else to become Rapid Delivery. Rapid Delivery needs to be squeezed (if such a word can be used) in before Wolfenstein is released.

Hi everyone, important news! The Pledge Manager will open on Friday morning (Polish time)! Tomorrow is a bank holiday in Poland, and we will not be at the office. So as the first thing on Friday, we're launching the PM and posting an update that will explain everything

Guys, bad news. We are having some technical problems, and I'm afraid we have to postpone the opening of the Pledge Manager until Monday. We will test it over the weekend to make sure that everything works as it should before the launch. We're sorry for the delay, we know you're all excited, but first, we need to be 100% certain that it's fully functional.
shipping is going to go up 1 euro, as the stretch goals ended up heavier than expected
so they're adding a free witch hunter for everybody as compensation
UK backers get their own PM with prices excluding VAT, if the order total is under £135 Archon will generate a separate VAT bill for you to pay (no customs), if it's over £135 you'll pay customs when it enters the country (so expect a handling fee from the courier too)
35 bases for 4 Euros, I can see these being popular, i'm sure i'll want several sets

oh, and you can buy a clear Jerry the Jello (or the original ordinary one for those that missed it last time round)

I dont think Jerry works in clear because of half painting the items in the goo but still retaining transparency. It costs more also.
If you want goo monsters with items floating inn or on them make your own with clear resin, with or without an ink tint, and whatever junk you add to them.

PM is live. Postage working out at €24 for 2 Village pledges for me but 1 Village pledge is €13.50 so there's a bit of a saving on multiple pledges. Other Add ons don't seem to add any more to the postage charge. I've gone for 1 village as rapid delivery and 1 regular so that adds another €17. There are no Sci-Fi sets in the PM.Credit Card only no Paypal in the PM.

Dungeon-building app One of our backers, Matthew Rose, has shared with us the app he created. Though it's still an early version and he says that updates are on the way, we think it's pretty awesome. This app lets you plan a layout of the dungeon you want, which will help you to plan your Pledge Manager spending or figure out what to do with all the sets you got.
Disclaimer from the creator: "The Android version is a bit tricky for some people to download right now because phones tend to block APK downloads, but I'll have it up on Google Play store in a couple days which should make it much easier."
so if you've not checked out the lasted update one of the backers has put together an app so you can plan what bits you need for a layout, worth a look if your unsure
the UK backers PM is working ok and I've got my order in
I want more but I might as well lock this with an under £135 spend as the postage on a second pledge is no more than what Fedex would charge for collecting the VAT on a larger order, and this means the money's gone so I don't have to avoid spending it on something else
I await the VAT bill from archon, but I guess they may need to send that manually not via gamefound? I'll report back when it happens

and this is the late pledge link if you didn't jump in during the KS
I wanted to rapid ship one pledge with 3-4 extra core sets to start playing around with but the last core pushed me into the next shipping bracket, and at that point it was just 8€ more to have a second pledge rapid shipped instead.
The big disappointment of the campaign is that the lovely turquoise sewer water that was in all the youtube promos is NOT available as they can no longer source that dye.

Man, the roofs are really holding me back on this.
I think I'm going to only go for a single village. I had dreams of doing a huge sprawling wooden tavern/inn, but I just don't think it will look compelling without a good roof.

I ended up getting a pair of Villiage sets...my daughter has a Pathfinder group and needs the NPCs, and I plan on setting up some 1st Edition Descent in 3D games.
Urusei Yatsura, Cerebus the Aardvark, Machiavelli, Plato and Happy Days. So, how was your childhood?

Sounds to me like what you really need is a 3d printer!
