unless of course you're one of those 40k gigachads that has a local group that ignores matched play rules.
Haha!
We generally play with them, but we will do themed games from time to time.
Plastic rough riders is a first step. Second step would be rough rider platoons! Or at least different types of cav in fast, elite...and dare I dream...troop slots!!?!?
Interesting if true, hopefully they are well-revised and include good bits to make them fit with some of the varied aesthetics of other guard forces/would really suck if they were restricted to just Attilan guard regiments.

It doesn't sound like an anything name. Might just be a nom-de-guerre.

That's assuming they wouldn't potentially be Auxilia, intended to be a "regimentally neutral" option.
Could go either way, too. Adopted into Attilan culture while retaining his birth name is as easy as a native Attilan taking an Imperial name once he rises to prominence to better please his conservative lords.
Nehekhara lives! Sort of!
Why is the rum always gone?

I thought it was in reference to king Leonitus from the 300 . Their spears and shields, but I could be way off, it just doesn't seem "Current" enough of a ripoff that GW would capitalize on it. Though the Predator not catchans are dated as well.
LOL, Theo your mind is an amazing place, never change.-camkierhi 9/19/13

None of the strange ideas we had about you involved your sexual orientation..........-Monkeytroll 12/10/13
I'd put you on ignore for that comment, if I could...Alpharius 2/11/14
Catachans came out in the '90s though and at that point, the '80s Action Hero (Rambo, Predator, Commando) isn't even a decade-old concept, and it's not like the idea ever went away since it's still prevalent in modern media. It's an iconic aesthetic that you can copy and sell with ease.
Death Riders, please. They're like Rough Riders except 38% more grimdark. And they literally Ride Death so there's that.
Going to be specifically Attilan Rough Riders apparently.
I don't get why that guy is being quoted? What has he said to give even a bit more credibility than just any random commenter there?
A brief look at his comment history suggests he's someone with advance access to new materials, though I've not been following new releases closely enough to know if what he has said actually came to pass

Spoiler:

I think his comment was specifically directed at the Rough Riders rumor engine pic (since people were asking what regiment the models would be based on), not anything to do with his earlier cheeky leak of Leontus.
Despite his leak being "what is Leontus riding on?" I personally [based on no inside knowledge] don't think a new Lord Solar would be a named Rough Rider. More likely if he is a LoW then he'll probably be in command variant "diorama style" tank like others have speculated.

I don't know, did you try looking at his comment history?
I've been posting about this guy here for like 3 months now. I found him around the time the detailed Eldar rumors started after someone offhandedly asked "who first mentioned the Ranger Jetbike".
Turns out it was this guy who's been posting leaks such as the exact contents of the Eldritch Omens and Eldar Combat Patrol boxes, Corsairs vs CSMKT box, Parasite of Mortrex, and a lot of codex rule details since around last Summer/Fall.

Not up on all the AoS factions these days.
Nope, it's literally a bit you can already obtain.
Also, it's the Khinerai shield, not the Sisters of Slaughter.
