Unfortunately from the recent announcement it doesn’t sound like we will get any Cursed City expansions until later in the year when the base game returns as a regular stock item rather than just a made to order.

We may not get them until the Fall, but they can tease them anytime they like.

Sounds like we might see Imperial Knights at Adepticon as well.

Maybe we’ll catch a glimpse of these magnificent behemoths at AdeptiCon later this week? You’ll have to join us to find out…

So, Imperial Knights?

Maybe it's just another armouring video.

Or ritual could have a double meaning, and its actually the reveal of the new chaos knights

Really wouldn't hate a new double box with 2 knights, missed both of the previous Renegade boxed sets and now they'll have an actual chaos knight to include, sooo ...

Ritual of Becoming sounds like it could be that. But you have to be careful there, these days GW actually has distinct Chaos and Imperial Knight models and you might only get a battle box with two different factions like any other instead of a generic box like Renegade. Would still work for Chaos, of course, but not so much for Imperial players.

One of our favourite Reddit codex leakers says no new models for IK, just a codex. They previously said Chaos Knights were getting both a new War Dog and Questoris option.

I find it odd that we aren't hearing more about CSM?

We have the leaks, but in terms of official content, I think all we've seen is the Chosen from the 40k box and the Legionnaires from the KT box.

I was surprised when Nids seemed to cut in front of Chaos, I think I remember someone saying a while ago that Knights and Chaos Knights might come before CSM, so it isn't surprising... but it still feels weird. Like: "Hey everyone, you can buy these boxes with CSM models in them... But you'll have to wait for three more dexes to go by before you find out what the CSM army as a whole actually looks like. Feels like a marketing screw up.

Either way though, it does look like Knights for 40k and Ash Nomads for Necromunda at minimum.

We have a rough idea what new models are coming from rumours. Unfortunately no photo leaks yet.

Most likely CSM are being kept back because they're part of a big Shadowspear-style summer boxed set with regular marines.

Are they.... telling us what they're previewing this week pr something? Ash waste nomad mini and knights mentioned/shown. They could easily have not shown those and been a bigger surprise at the reveal.

The seem to want to actively sabotage themselves?

My guess is that there was some delay in some of the new model production for Chaos and that the book is already done, as was the Nids book. Because of that they probably decided to push the Nids book out ahead of Chaos because there is only one new kit (that they presumably have everything taken care of with) and the new book.

As far as the preview goes I know we will be saying the rest of the Frankenstein Underworlds band, and probably some more Ash Wastes stuff, but beyond that I have no idea. To be honest I haven’t really been following GW that closely lately, as I’m kind of burnt out with them.

I'm sure gw introduces law forbidding swapping chaos knight to imperial knight between players.

The only mention I've seen is of a new War Dog and Questoris for Chaos. Imperials get nothing new.

For an Adepticon reveal, not having a model seems….odd and unusual.

Not out of the realms of possibility. Just…a waste of a slot.

I can only assume the reveal will be "knight codex next..... AND CHAOS KNIGHTS!!!!! Surprise!!!!! tumbleweed Oh. Here's some new kits."

I vaguely hope that despite passively aggressively not admitting there isn't enough content for either book, they just fold and put together a Knights Codex and just have chaos and imperial subfactions inside.

Wasn't there literally a big ol' obvious Chaos Knight miniature in the trailer, way back when?

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

Remember, GW usually does one thing per game system (and "one thing" in this context can mean a new model and the Codex coming with it).

We can hold out hope that their Knight reveal includes Imperial and Chaos Knights, just because otherwise the reveal with be Imperial Knights with no new models, and that's a bit of a damp squib.

Of course no Chaos/Guard, 'cause that's silly. Maybe a silly teaser for one of them at the end of the show.

It'd be amazing if the Necromunda preview were the Ash Wastes, and then a "We'll show you the other half of the box later in the year!". Certainly wouldn't put that past them.

Truthfully, all I want from this whole thing is the names of the next 2-3 factions or major product releases for each product line they've listed, and roughly the month they're happening in. They can toss in some pictures of models if they want.

That's it. And it feels bad that I know that's unrealistic.

New ashwastes terrain would be cool. I'd be very surprised if there's an appreciable amount though, given how much terrain there already is, plus the new stuff we know is coming, plus the perfectly serviceable new terrain they've discontinued.

I'll go one further... literally just a list of approximate order of codices (i.e., the current predicted release order). *Silently holds the line while cradling a lasgun and crying*

(In all honesty, I know knights really needed a codex so I'm not that put off. I know CSM is fairly popular and the non-40k stuff is also important so I'll just assume guard is last...just hoping it's not stupidly broken or instantly bottom tier the second 10th comes out...oh, and that it doesn't force you to take a named regiment to have any hope of a win)

I'd love to see some ashwastes terrain. Not just more imperial pipes, buildings and/or ruins. But actual terrain.
