That's BS. I've been signed up forever but the ticker is telling me my mini is over 3 months away (pretty sure it's been saying 3 months for over 3 months now!)

This is correct, have to be Subbed for a year to W+, meaning August is the first chance for the models.

Getting the Warhammer+ model three months early was a sign up incentive for people who at the time were already signed up to the 40k app. So some people should get the models soon, but not everyone.

The new Skydorf is the least Skydorf-y Skydorf of all the Skydorf minis.

The Vampire is very nice.

I like the vampire.

It's almost like they previewed the next upcoming faction/release yesterday, not sure what else you expected them to do?

Vampire is nice, dumb name though. John French is a good writer so I might pick the book up. Feeling pretty let down in total though after yesterday.

Implication that they might be put into Cursed City is interesting.

Ah, I understand. I preferred today to yesterday, even though I do not collect a lot of these Aos Armies....yet. I do have an STD force consisting of Archaeon and Varunguard. I'm excited to expand that with more new models! Dawnbringer has me really excited too!

Well, like they've done today - a bit of a mix. Only other thing they had done for 40K, yesterday, was show off the Votann biker.

So, overall it looks like Sylvaneth are getting some love, skaven are getting a single model and continued neglect and five other models exist (half of which are chaos ogres that may not come out until the end of the year).

There are also (unmentioned here for the Fest!, but on the roadmap) FOUR other battletomes coming out between Sylvaneth & Skaven and STD. Woo!

I sort of get it, yesterday was some stuff the likes of which hasn't been seen before, it was a nice clear coherent presentation foe the next release, a little preview of a faction further out and a smattering of other content. The sigmar one feels... very bitty. Like they don't have 1 big release they're proud of to show, for lack of a better explanation. The sylvaneth stuff is nice but nothing in it is different from most people's imagined units for them, it's all very safe.

Plus there was more stuff in the CSM reveal than we got total today. The biggest release is Sylvaneth and it’s 3 units. They wasted a slot on something that isn’t even coming until the winter. And they sounded bored through the whole thing.

Frankly, it still feels like catching up from last year.

The Sylvaneth at least look neat. I'm not shocked about Dawnbringer Crusades, I'm just shocked it took this long to start talking about them.

Nitpicking the deamon Prince comes out in winter, likely with codex daemons, so that's a long term preview.

That's mostly because the Deamon Prince (that was leaked for the STD tome) got hijacked yesterday for the spikey marine book.

The shaven model was the best of the show, its a really well designed piece. Love it.

An uninspired day for Age of Sigmar is a bit too on the nose, I think. Though the minotaurs were fun looking.

I don’t even think they’d have revealed them now. The StD battletome is 6 books in the future.

I'm not. We knew from the leaks that GW across all its properties were about 11 months behind due to brexit and the pandemic.

This in honesty, I don't think the prince or the ogroids were going to feature initially as they both seem really out of place timescale wise.

Exactly, another Chaos model. But don't get me wrong, its nice to see Chaos getting their stuff after being put to the back of the queue.

Personally, I think Imperial Guard needs to be on the horizon now. I don't collect them but those players need something to look forward to other than a bunch of elite-womble-troopers in Kill Team.
