Thanks for showing us the pics. It's much appreciated for those of us that dislike having to watch entire videos.

However, I find it difficult to fathom a score of 9/10 when the quality of the actual model is so poor it needs 4 to 5 inches of seam filler.

Thanks for the size comparison. I was wondering about that.

Written reviews are so much better IMO than video reviews, it's a shame that almost everyone these days does the video reviews instead of written ones. Don't have time for lengthy videos and I can read so much faster than someone can speak.

As for the seams, some of them do look like they could just be left and painted as if they were panel lines to me. On the Eavy Metal kits it looks like they filled the seams that were near the track wheels, but left the seam on the gun shield thingo. A lot of other reviewers didn't bother filling any of them.

The seams are pretty on the side sections from my recollection. And worse it's very easy to have the sections not end up very straight, requiring a lot of care. Just not a super well designed bit of kit compared to some newer stuff.

I like the nostalgic look. I will be picking one up, i just wished they released something along side of it. Kind of an odd preorder.

Nice enough pads, terrible heads. Don't like the vents going every which way, and on the completed model, the side view has the 'beak' look like a muzzle. The gold lines also look out of place.

Yeah heads are fine but nothing special, heads a bit subpar.

Definitely Emperor's Children. The way they're sculpted if you paint the beak black, you get a gimp mask.

IXth hats and pads, finally! I like the pads (they are simple enough so have room for further bling/kitbashing), but the heads, ehh.. Will wait until I have them in my hands before judging. Based on the pics alone, not a fan too much..

If I'm going to be using these heads, it'll probably be as replacement helmets for MKX Gravis models.. Like, maybe for an Aggressor squad or something.. The leftmost ones might have enough of a skull facismile to pass as DC.. But probably not for actual beakie models.

What I'd really want, if we talking heads that is, would be a generic "Beakie" helmet upgrade kit. Most of the vintage MKVI helmets are now too big and bulky to be used with the new MKVI models. Just a nice assortment of targeters and helmet scopes for me thx

I like the heads, very sleek, matches some of the other legion-specific stuff that BA get very well.

Yeah... not a fan of the BA heads. It's almost like they're trying to take these heads but stretch the grills out over the beak of a Mk.VI helmet.

Not sure it works.

That was my exact thought! Thousand Sons.

Remember folks, no matter how gak your specific Legion heads are. They aren't this.

The unhelmeted head is quite nice though. At least they got that right for the IXth.

It’s larger overall in every axis by about half an inch, even without the monster dozer blade. Though obviously the tallest part is all at the back.
