That's the other part that has miffed me a bit... They've not shown many models really, well units... And we know there are more in their locker, they should have revealed all of the AM stuff, as well as all of the world eaters.

New guard looks fantastic. Might just pull the trigger on starting up a Cadian army. That and my Orks will love to make use of those artilleries somehow…

So, I went to the GW store and ordered Bayard.

Apparently he was $45 USD, not $35. I probably should have checked, but I kinda though $35 would have been fitting given the anniversary...

Oh well. I got a free Vargskyr for the mini of the month, so I'll say its a win.

Vargskyr is the best model from CC set so yep I'd say that's a very solid win!

That's certainly an interesting expectation. What previous preview show in the last couple years gave you the idea that they would do that?

You actualy get some good shots of the dark mechanics thing. it also looks like it has 2 buuilds, one with hammer and more traditional head, one in blue looks like it has a staff it is clutching

its claw and hammer are from rumour engines

I totally forgot there was a reveal show coming today. Now that I've seen it, I have to say bravo on the Cadian redesigns! The new models are lightyears apart from the old constipated midgets.

With enough DKoK, Karskin and now these Cadian sprues, you could make very cool looking Guard armies.. assuming the old FW resin vehicles ever get to cross the Rubicon Plasticaris, that is..

I hope the new guard kits are compatible with traitor ones. Just had some problems fixing them on the old models

Oh interesting. I can definitely see the horse skull head. Maybe it's a bird skull

But I can also interpret it as a zombish looking head that's turned towards us.

Love the Commissar model. It just screams character despite not doing anything for once.

I take full credit for the Dark Mech character coming by the way. I just converted a Tech Priest Dominus to be more Chaosy which was a project I had in mind for years and then typically this preview happens

The Juggernaught Lord will never be a satisfying to hold as the original. What a beautiful weighty hunk of metal.

With all of the special (what was it 3, maybe 4?) Catachan characters I was convinced they were somewhere in the pipeline. Looks like I may be wrong. Like you, big fan of the new artillery and heavy weapons for the Cadians as well, which is a shame in itself as I'm willing to drop a good chunk of change on anything that is compatible with the plastic Krieg troopers. Guess I'll have to splurge on a few kill teams instead, then!

Following people extensively pirating the tiny amount of relevant content to their faction in these books , we've noticed a decline in our sales. Therefore we've decided to repackage our DLC into different sections that will either get no traction with the playerbase (like every other "alternative" play expansion ever) or will be invalidated by the imminent next edition.

Heck, even if they had added the 2nd Ed Codex Imperialis and Wargear book to the Warhammer+ Vault that would have been something...

I think it was a bit tight not showing the Guard tanks and Rough Riders tbh. It felt odd given the entire range presumably ships before the World Eaters. The new Cadians look really nice though.

I do wish there were more Krieg models coming. Was really looking forward to some heavy weapon teams.

The Cadians are nice, the new chap on Juggernaut is nice... and that is it. A very underwhelming reveal/celebration. No real call back to the 35 years of 40k, nothing about these reveals indicates this momentus occasion... they could have been a regular standard reveal.

Would have been great to have seen a modern take on the deodorant stick converted into a anti grav tank from Rouge Trader.

Good lord that box art is atrocious. Kitchsy fantasy art with odd proportions and over the top imagery works when it's hand done, but digitally its just an abomination.
