Revealing Guard that had already leaked, bar the awesome new arty kits. Didn't even show off the new tank (assuming such a thing exists). Not even showing off the Codex.

Necrons get a character most Necron players already own, and an upgrade kit that's somehow even more of a low effort than this.

A terrain box for terrain that's already out, and bases. Woo!

And half the Zerkernaut kit; not even showing off the special character side of the kit.

Weird, I like the new Commissar.

That's a really nice reveal for Guard. I actually like everything. Better poses, better proportions all around, lots of interesting details and they even changed the design of the derpy helmets.

Can't wait to see the hot Dark Mechanicus she-priest wielding the long unresolved rumor engine hammer.

Gotta say I really like the new IG. They did fix the proportions and made them look like actual humans. The Commissar is the only real outlier that looks off for some reason.

Could have been worse. They could have reprinted the 2E box set, made the models within it tournament-illegal, and charged a $1000 for it.

Anyway, I'm hoping this Arks of Omen thing could be a way to bring back Battlefleet Gothic. But hope is the first step...

Oh, and I didn't see if someone else said it yet, but since these new Cadians have kneepads, does that mean they have carapace armor now? For all those who remember that old argument.

Dark Mechanicus?!

Some people in chat were insinuating that this partner to Abbadon might be Peter Turbo, but I think it's clear from the silhouette shot that this is going to be a new character leading a new iteration of the Dark Mechanicus. In the teaser we had negavolt cultists (?) on the bottom, so this is likely an expansion along that line. The repurposing of derelict Space Hulks also fits with that. Maybe the end goal of this campaign is to summon the demon primarch...

I really am curious if Dark Mech is coming. 3 new armies at the end of the edition for 40k seems pretty nuts.

Maybe Dark Mech will lead into 10th? Could easily see a new army like that being the starter faction with some models leading up to it?

Quite like the Imperial Guard stuff, but I feel something is a bit odd about their proportions. I can't figure out what it is though.

Some of the stuff I would have liked to have seen something similar for the Votann instead, mainly the field caps and Ordinance Battery.

GW cut down on oversizing parts. They don't have extra large heads, hands or feet. They also seems to have more natural poses than GW usually does. Might be any of that?

We got some of the same on Battle Sisters, too. And they're not the only example either. It seems like GW is easing up on some longstanding traditions of late.

Which is a move I personally like.

Cool minis but disappointed they didn't do anything tangible with the anniversary side of it.

Would have been cool to get a made/print to order run on old starters and classic books or something along those lines.

Dark mechanicum looks interesting.

Second kill team set of the season dosent seem to hold much value? A reprint of into the dark terrain so quickly? Looks like they are expecting karsikins to carry the box set. Wich I think is a mistake we were told the kill team sets would tie together not be a repeat of the same terrain that's just lame.

Even only seeing the silhouette, I just know that that Dark Mechanicus model is going to be perfect for a grimdark paint job.

The Lord Invocatus looks great, though I do for the helmet horns a bit ridiculous. I'm wondering if the models behind it are new Skullcrusher-type units for the World Eaters, or just regular Bloodcrushers that we already have.
