I wouldn't hate that. It would be nice for the BL model range to expand past the Imperium too.

While that would be cool I think I’d still rather have a new infantry kit, tankbustas or lootas/burnas than just a single character. Both would be best, of course.

Ultimately Orks did pretty well in terms of kits out of the last few editions, and Ork players might have to accept an odd character is all they're gonna get this time.

Honestly I wasn’t expecting any new Ork models in 10th. But updated Tankbustas would be nice.

Counting on Warboss Kurgan's site, just 6:

two for the Babouls, two on Seargeant Stone, and one for the Ghould Ambassador and the Nurgle Horseman. The two Baboul ones were known to us already from the spanish leak.

Terrible stitching on that skin cloak, zero artistry.

Plenty of Warhammer denizens have cloaks of skin so difficult to rule anything out.

Looks less like a scaly skin to me, more like some carapace? Since Sylvaneth already got something I don't think its a bug for them so maybe Idoneth crabs?

If it's a close-up of a crab claw, it could be something Slaanesh too.

It could be mandrakes. The KT teaser video did have some dark eldar looking buildings, and they need a plastic kit and would fit well in KT.

There are some lizards and turtles as well that have similarly scaled tails, so it could be almost anything in that vein too. And it can always be some sci-fi/alien/chaos/weird thing nobody has ever seen before

More likely, it might be that Idoneth are one of the two Order WarCry warbands coming this year.

We have four Order warbands coming, per the roadmap.

Stormcast, Seraphon, and Daughters of Khaine already have theirs.
That leaves:
-Lumineth
-Idoneth
-Sylvaneth
-Fyreslayers
-Kharadron Overlords
-Cities of Sigmar

Out of all of those?
Lumineth+Idoneth are active in Ghur, as are Fyreslayers and Sylvaneth.

I guess one of these can reasonably be assumed to be Cities of Sigmar, for that sweet sweet tie-in with the army release for AoS and whatever it is that Dawnbringers is supposed to be. But still, Idoneth warband is a likely guess.

I wouldn't actually bet on Cities. A tie-in would dilute the overall Dawnbringers/Freeguild launch I think.

Ah well, we'll have to see. If it's Idoneth, that seems to match that other recent engine pic with some mist and a tentacle, and possibly also the one with the elvish-looking hand holding some sort of mist bottle or brazier.
