He's on a bigger base, correct? I think that might be part of the issue. It makes him look more Nob sized than a Warboss, particularly since he's similar in style to the monopose Boyz Nob. The choppa also feels small, though I don't think the PK is as noticeable. Also the squig is squished which is probably my big disappointment.

I'm 90% sure he's on a 50mm base, similar to the Beast Snagga boss. I think you're right, with at least the Beast Snagga boss he's very bottom heavy with his pose so he makes the most of the base's space. But the way this warboss is posed (particularly with the base scenery) it makes it too empty and it feels like the rocks are taking up more of the presence of the model at the bottom than the warboss himself.

The raised arm looks very small, but I’m hoping it’s just the photos. So hyped for new ORKS so I may forgive it if it isn’t.

Some reddit geometry nerds have confirmed the new sculpt to be roughly the same size as MA Warboss (minus the gretchin on top, obviously).
I'm not a big fan of the helmeted version, but I guess he is an homage to the original metal one. The alternative built is pretty nice though, it reminds me of the warboss in Blood Shootas and Teef. I might even loot a hairsquig somewhere
That said, I already have 9 warbosses, and I don't even own the current sculpt. Not sure I'm going to buy one.

So, whilst this of course aligns with Valrak’s rumours about Orks being in the 11th Ed Big Box? This could be something coming sooner.
The packaging in the original social media post is a straight forward character box. And it has various options. Bonce, Banner, Shoota, Squig or No Squig, CCW, Belt,
That’s…that’s way more options than we typically see on Big Box Models. And yes we see models parted out, feels very early for that packaging to be the one “leaked”
I’m wondering if this is for another, as yet unheralded book in the 10th Ed End of Edition range. Which may or may not be coming with other releases. And it’s those releases we might see some of Monday.

They are currently doing their end-of-edition-campaign books with characters for the factions involved. A model send out by mistake means it's already stored in their warehouse, ready to ship. That doesn't really match up with a project plan aiming for an edition launch in summer. Since orks didn't have a book yet, it might also be just the character orks get to go with their book. Then a gain it's also possible that the source of Valrak's rumor has seen some thematic pictures of ork armies for 11th and the new warboss was just arranged to stand next to the rumored content of the starter box. The complete absence of changes in the last two datasheets also is quite sure sign that orks will be among the first codices of next edition.

New Ork teasers are out:
https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/e9dl4ok8/sneak-peek-new-ork-bits-sighted/
There's debates on the kustom Ork kannon being part of the Bike of the Aporkalypse for Wazdakka or maybe the kannon for one of the supposed rumoured trakks/warbuggies.

To me it looks more like the rumored dakka dread. It's to snazzy for a trakk in my opinion and wazzdakka's dakka cannon was an extremely high caliber gun, not a gatling. Be also had a chainsaw arm, not a klaw.

Good points, I wouldn't be opposed to having a dakka dred variant that gives us more options for dred mob given the current one is hard to play with that doesn't make it feel like an expensive distraction carnifex.
A good consideration for one of the rumours is that the power klaw is actually Yarrick's, rather than from an Ork model, as a sneaky way of showcasing him without giving it away, though I'm 50/50 on this one.

It could be similar to Creed and it be someone new picking up the torch and the legacy, which like Jidmah I wouldn't be opposed to.
I also would like a Dakka dread of some kind, which the rumour mill has been pushing. However to me the housing around the kannon in the teaser looks like the front of the current warbikes, pushing me towards thinking it's at least a bike of some description, Wazdakka or not. I won't be upset with either option though.

Technically, warbikes are one of our oldest models right now. It might by random, but maybe GW is redoing them?
Or maybe... warboss on warbike is back

I've heard rumours of an influx of "fast attack" units for various factions, but nothing else to really back that up.
I would love it if Biker Bosses came back. Especially if it's the same dimensions and base size as my current one so I don't have to build another

Doesnt the Wartrike lack the thumb also on his snagga klaw? I could see this as Wazdakka, like a wartrike epic hero, sort of thing. If they bring back warbosses on warbikes though, i would be happy. I miss my old warboss on warbike basically being a suicide missile in 9th edition.

As Thrakka said, orks need strong enemies to fight to get stronger. And strong enemies are hard to come by.

Same here. The funniest part is based at least what I've seen online, Ork players seem more pumped to see that Yarrick is back more than the Guard players
