Does that mean the rules are finished?

Is the engine similar to Baron's war?

Anyone got any idea why the voting for different kits seems to have come to a stop? They did it for a few lines, then seem to have ceased.

Vacation and flu season would be my guess.

Considering it's been 3 months since the shipping status changed, it's not unreasonable to want to know how many pledges are remaining or how many are being packed each day. I'm trying to be patient but but the radio silence on this point is infuriating, even if they just say they are half done but picking up speed now that they have the replacement backpack sprue ready.

The News and Rumors section is all about surprises. I'd certainly hate it if we got 100 posts saying "I know something you don't know..." - malfred

Yeah, a bunch of UK people I know and none have confirmed anything towards updates on their pledge or deliveries.

In the US. Still no change in status from the "preparing" change a couple months back. My birthday is first week of February. Maybe I will get a birthday surprise.

The last update on UK was that they would begin transferring the backer list to the packing/shipping software, which sounds like something that could have been done at any point since the call to lock in your address. So stalling is still on the menu, boys.

transfering data to shipping software often sends out a

'we're preparing your package for shippig email'

(which i think happened for all usa backers, producing lots of where's my stuff emails when packages didn't appear in the next few days)

which would be a good reason not to trigger that for the backers in the rest of the world until sprue production in the UK had finished

(that said now we're a week after all the christmas/new year breaks should be over i really hope us rest of the world backers see some movement this coming week)

It's Sharpe's sergeant, Patrick Harper. Like the Richard Sharpe spure, there's a 28mm version (with options) and a 54mm version for display..

I think its the vertical one on the right of the sprue, that he's cradling in his arm.

Yeah, the cradling one definitely has multiple barrels and is shorter than the wielded musket.

As for the First Empires voting, I voted Sea Peoples, Scythian Horsewomen (who are likely the historical inspiration for the Greek myth of the Amazons), and Trojan War Infantry.

re: Sgt Harper. So it looks like the 28mm Harper has a volley rifle but not the 54mm.

Just to clear this up: no it's not. This version of Harper is relevant to the first first story set in 1809. He did not have the volley gun at that point. A later kit will have the volley gun included.
