Yeah that Cities of Death/Planet Strike terrain was awesome

The planet strike kits were quite good and I found them easy to work up.

So over the last two days I have been building my Shadow War Armageddon kit. Which if you have not seen this one it has a lot of spures, to many spures. Anyway this kit is fairly straight forward but painful. It is all black under coat, dry brush, inking, highlighting and matt varnish. Bugger I used two bottles of ink on this kit. With lots of bits looking for a home this needed some serious thinking. I had a plan for this as it will be part of my industrial table. It needed to blend in colour wise and link in to the refinery sector, but still be a stand alone sector. Hopefully, I achieved that but I still have to do a bit of painting to complete, mainly highlighting.

Finished the 40K Sector Mechanicus Plasma Regulators today with the final bit of highlighting and vanishing. Used Squat Green also known as Humbrol 79. I have been on ebay to get some additional bits as the kit needs some more balustrades bits to support the walk way. I adding four or five in fact. The big yellow generator needs a bit of weathering to blend in a bit more with the kit.

Ta CB. I actually built and painted this kit in two days all up. Lots of drybrush and inking though.

Thanks HBMC glad you like it. It will work well with the rest of my industrial table. Also, I know after seeing your terrain blog understand about not nearly enough! OMG do I understand. LOL!
