An entertaining movie, but I certainly wouldn't call it 'good.' It's got a very wishy washy plot with an extremely underbaked villain. Stuffed with cameos that add very little to the movie. Criminal under utilization of X23. Could have had some real heart showing more of her and Logan together.
The natural charisma of Reynolds and Jackman kept me going throughout and is definitely the best part of the movie, but it's very much in the same vein as the rest of the middling multiverse movies we've seen.
I'm very much looking forward to leaving alternate realities behind.
To get it out of the way: it is definitely worth seeing.
I found it a bit of an odd watch. Individual scenes and discrete moments are awesome and really fun to but when put together the whole is kind of just ok. It'll be fun to watch scenes again but not the whole thing from start to finish. Very much a "oh man do you remember that one part?" kind of movie. Reynold's and Jackman are great together and it is always nice seeing Wolverine allowed to be very violent. Most of the jokes work and overall the film could probably could have used with a bit of trimming as it feels a bit to long, but nothing that will ruin the experience.
Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.
Definitely a theme park ride, but a really good one. It's certainly not really about the plot and if I had one real criticism its that DPs supporting cast doesn't really get to shine outside of a couple moments here and there. The need to constant reset Vanessa has been my gripe throughout the franchise and remains my gripe here.
With the bad out of the way, lets be clear. My wife doesn't really like super hero films and absolutely despises multiverse and time travel as story tropes but this film still won her over. Everyone involved is giving it their all and the writing is sharp and punchy throughout. For a movie so reliant on cameos it doesn't feel like anyone is there for the paycheck and its hard not to feel like these actors are really taking their chance to leave their mark on the characters they played at a really awkward time for super hero filmmaking.
It's all very meta and memberberry but it shines specifically because its the right time and place for such a thing. It's ultimately what Deadpool does and its very clear how much love got put into to making this a farewell party to remember.
In terms of ‘memberberries, I don’t entirely disagree. But, as a swan song for the 20th Century Fox movies? We at least have some framing for that. After all? No X-Men, no MCU. No Blade, arguably none of the more obscure characters in the MCU.
Whilst the quality was….mixed doesn’t seem strong enough? Fox’s run proved Marvel properties couldn’t just make for profitable films? But enjoyable ones.

All of this. The actors really all felt like they wanted to be there. They all seemed like they were having a good time. There is even jokes in other interviews at this point about people that didn't get brought back that seem a little sad about it. It was an amazing swan song for an era of super hero movies. I wouldn't put this much to me as remember berries. To me it's consistent in what it is throughout.
I'll hold off spoilery type discussion till a week or two after it's out but I thoroughly enjoyed this. All the "cameo" actors put their hearts into this. And there was really a lot of consistent and well done bits that kept it consistent across the entire film that normally get left out, especially in modern marvel movies.
Best Painted (2015 Adepticon 40k Champs)
They Shall Know Fear - Adepticon 40k TT Champion (2012 & 2013) & 40k TT Best Sport (2014), 40k TT Best Tactician (2015 & 2016)
Just got back from the cinema, and thoroughly enjoyed it. A few cameos that had already been spoiled, but enough surprise moments in there to still be fun.
Also more dodgy CGI than I was expecting, and as much as it was fantastic to see Wolverine in the yellow at last... I hate the mask. Even the bits where it was physically there instead of CGI didn't look quite right.
Fantastic ride, though, and an excellent swan song for the Fox side of Marvel. It's been a long time since I laughed that much in a movie.

Saw it. It's great. Lots of fun. Good jokes. As others said, the actors all gave it their all. It's a big send off to the fox franchises. Good on them for getting a last hurrah in.

I loved it! Best super hero movie in a loooong time. Jokes, cameos, fights, all of it was great. Highly recommended, even if you are Marvel/superhero burnt or maybe especially then.
Just got back and I feel very weird; I loved that film, it was hilarious, everyone seemed to be having a great time and the cameos and Easter eggs were top notch. And the montage of Fox films in the credits was genuinely heartfelt.
But.
But.
It wasn’t a Deadpool film? I mean, it had a LOT of Deadpool in it, but I really loved the first two because of his crazy, close knit surrogate family with Dopinder, Colossus and Negasonic, etc.
I just had the most fun at the cinema in a long while, but I still have an itch for a film like the first two.

Still good. Still fun. But not as genuinely pure and beautiful as the first movie.
Also: How the hell is Pitch Meeting now coming up with new versions of its old jokes? That's not what I watch Pitch Meeting for damnit. I watch Pitch Meeting to hear the same 4 not-jokes over and over again with no variation!
But also I love how you can tell he still enjoyed this movie while also taking shots at The Acolyte XD
Tatiana Maslany is apparently being vocal about her displeasure over Deadpool and Wolverine. She's cranky her cameo got cut, thinks the "retro" Fox characters should have been more modern day heroes, and claims "they don't know how to write a good movie." She also has stated some pretty negative things about Reynolds on a personal level.
Not for certain, but this sounds a bit like sour grapes.

Once again, these are rumors coming from Mike Zeroh and there is absolutely no substance to it. Just a hater with a youtube channel trying to stir up drama because they are an idiot.
