I liked his appearances on the Red Green show. It showed that he could be funny as well as serious. RIP

I know he's been in a lot of amazing movies and has given many memorable performances, but my favorite movie of his will always be Sneakers.

"You listen to me. While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is that I am a naysayer and hatchetman in the fight against violence. I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King. My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you Sheriff Truman." - Twin Peaks

That’s a good choice. My preference would be the Sting. It’s kind of joyful to watch the whole thing come together. The man did a lot of awesome stuff.

Saw it in the theater and SETECH ASTRONOMY has always stuck in my head. He had to many good performances for me to choose just one.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

I always thought of Robert Redford in older movies like The Sting and Three Days of the Condor (and even A Bridge Too Far), but I remember my surprise and delight when he showed up in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, playing the villain no less. It made me wonder where he'd been in the intervening years.

RIP to one of the great ones.
