Subject: Eldar/Aeldari Warlock Conversions advice...

I'm looking for tips and advice on using and converting some Warlocks.
After getting some damaged Combat Patrol issues replaced I have found myself with a lot more than a Combat Patrol, one that is wraith heavy. So I'm taking the plunge into an Iyanden style Eldar army.
Looking on Wayland games and I can invest in a Spirit Seer, 2 Warlocks and a warlock on a jetbike for like £70 which is frankly bonkers.
Firstly, what is a usable warlock to Wraith unit ratio, particularly in the 3rd-6th edition arena?
Secondly, what are good conversion routes?
I can see that some bluestuff to mold off the chest detail of the Farseer into greenstuff is first on the list but what do others do? Would a box of Guardians give me the bits I need?
For context I've been converting for decades, mostly Orks, Chaos and IG so the finer points of what is considered a good job vs a taboo hack job for Eldar is a closed book to me. Basically a heathen.

One of the defining traits of Eldar seers are their robes. Unless you are good sculpting those yourself, conversions off things like guardians is going to be rough.
GW’s character prices are a bit out of control. Might be worth checking ebay and second hand sources if the price gets to you.
You can check bits sellers or your FLGS for some parts if you do want to try. IIRC the bike seer comes with multiple arms/heads, so getting those might help. There is also a head to use from the hemlock wraithfighter, if people built as a crimson hunter they will have that as a spare.

Eldar rangers have cloaks, which could work. But a glance at them only a couple of the guys in the box seem like they would be workable. And at that point, just buy the characters.
Something in the Lumaneth range for AoS? Not that familer with it.

Another issue with converting warlocks and spirit seers, is that contemporary Eldar are comparatively tall. So you can not just get a random wizard miniature and put a head on it.
Having looked a bit into this myself, you could look at the AOS Lumineth range for bodies, and then the Eldar Corsair wayseeker/Soul weaver bitz (although Corsairs themselves seem to not be for sale currently?)
However, you will probably get cheaper figures by buying used metal warlocks.

Yeah, I think the voidscarred Corsair kill team box could form the basis of quite a few nice looking warlocks. You’d need to find a source of heads though. And probably howling banshees for the weapons maybe? Automatically Appended Next Post: Although these ones by Puppetswar might jut about work

It totally slipped my mind, which is off as I’m in the process of building one. But one on the minis you can get for subscribing to Warhammer+ this year is a spiritseer. Obviously, it’s more expensive overall, but if you like the other parts of the package, it’s part of the value.

I liked the plastic High Elf Swordmasters from Island of Blood.
One can either replace their heads, putty over or sand off their faces, or paint the faces as armored face masks.
