He also did really well in the Handmaid's Tale. Creepy and corrupt in just the right way for the needs of the film. He was a great actor in general.

My personal favorite role of his was Captain Augustus McCrae in Lonesome Dove.

"Through the darkness of future past, the magician longs to see.
One chants out between two worlds: Fire, walk with me."

"You listen to me. While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is that I am a naysayer and hatchetman in the fight against violence. I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King. My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you Sheriff Truman." - Twin Peaks

Actor Tom Noonan passed away at 74 Also wrote and directed but is primarily known for acting, especially for portraying Francis Dolarhyde in Manhunter (aka Red Dragon) and Cain in Robocop 2. True cinephiles will know he was Frankenstein's monster in The Monster Squad.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

Not been mentioned yet, but Jesse Jackson also died yesterday. Like him or dislike him, he certainly had a big influence over the past few decades.

Robert Carradine, dead at 71. They didn't say it directly, but sounds like suicide from bipolar disorder.

Watching Revenge of the Nerds with my brothers is one of my earliest childhood memories.

Was just coming here to post the same thing, Craig Charles has also posted up confirming it which is really gutting.

I hope he died peacefully in his jeep.

Can you imagine if Chuck had died two weeks from now, on Good Friday. There would have been so many memes about him resurrecting on Sunday.

He actually died 20 years ago. The Grim Reaper just finally worked up the courage to tell him.

That's a good run. Most of my youth was spent watching him and all the other 80's action stars do 80's action stuff.

My parents and extended family were all into motorcycles so I grew up around them, but I never really wanted a motorcycle until I saw Chuck shoot rockets out of one in The Delta Force.

James Tolkan, best known for his roles in Back to the Future and Top Gun, has passed at age 94.

He was in a number of other movies as well (among them, Masters of the Universe), but those two were probably his best known roles.
