I was at that stand shortly after doors were opened, they also had the new plastic Japanese Mech out too but, I assume, they pulled it from display as it was not part of today's pre orders. Looked ace.

Gaming friends and I really getting into building armies for the game at the moment. Its nice that there is still some flexibility with the background (not everything is fully described yet). It feels a lot like the early 40k days if you can think back that far!

I only had a quick look but I think the next Wargames Illustrated (Jul issue) comes with a sprue of plastic zombies. Wearing US or German uniforms?

Is that a thing for this game?

Yes - both German (Totenkorps) and Japanese (Shibito) zombies exist.

The sprue in the preview definitely shows the Paratrooper looking like he's being split in two.

Wow that issue is going to sell out quickly for sure!

WGI has been doing some really good cover sprues recently, think this is the 2nd time they will have a Konflikt one.

Looks like some more British bots are on the way at some point.

Are we sure those are new miniature designs? I saw these posted on FB and it almost looked like it was someone's conversion project (I may be mistaken with that though!)

The leak was from the new Wigan Warlord shop, so 99% a genuine reveal. They have also talked about an upcoming updated release roadmap.

Well, most of them dont match the ones in my case.
If those arent actual production pieces i suppose they could be mockups/test modelsof things to come.
