Even though the topic has been remarked on in several other threads in this forum I just wanted to know:
What in your opinion is the most God awful comic to film(or t.v.) adaptation?
IMO it's a toss up between "The Phantom "staring Billy Zane and the absolutely unwatchable made for t.v "Captian America" made in 1978 staring Reb Brown.
So..what's the worst?
I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.
Catwoman?
That movie was pretty terrible.

When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". I found my copy of Krull in the middle of 15th street in downtown Atlanta in the pouring rain. Surprisingly the DVD still worked. Then I watched it and found out why it had been tossed into the street in the pouring rain.

Judge Dredd ... J.Dredd does not get the girl or Show pain
Spawn ... he's not ment to be a hero ... he's init for himself
Alien Vs Preditor 2 (ok its comic based of a film) ... AvP1 was ok it was dark and things jumped out at you (there have been better horror/action movies) ...but AvP2 is a F@$£ing! teen movie ...
Catwoman ... wast of 15mins (load dvd watch 5 mins, fastward, watch , fastward, watch , give up)
Batman 'Forever', '& Robin' .... Almost killed off Batman movies way too kiddy friendly
Popeye ... actualy an improvement on the comic ... still bad ^_^
The Phantom ... another comic that was dead and should have stayed dead

Rico was not sent to Aspen. Like all bad Judges, he should have been on Titan, and had has face sealed up to work in a Vacuum.
Lawmasters do NOT fly. Only flying ones ever were on Lunar One.
Angel Gang....How come Mean was missing his arm? He loses that during the Judge Child Epic, shortly before he headbutts a Petrol pump, killing himself and Link, about 6 episodes before Pa and Junior are killed. He is then later ressurected by the Judge Child....so how come no arm but with family?
Why does only Dredd have the Eagle on his uniform?

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, without a doubt the worst comic book adaption ever. Sin City and 300 were worse films but LXG was so much more disappointing for me.

Dredd is up there, for ruining my childhood memories.
Tank Girl is pretty bad but so is the comic.
Sin City is not great but neither is the comic.
Batman and Robin, probably. Just as a low point of the most popular comic hero ever.
Though the electra movie was pretty bad.

My brother keeps saying that Starship Troopers purchased the novel name to avoid GW suing them due to the blatant copy of IG going against Tyranids movie. That way they could point that they "adapted" a prior work.
