Does anyone else miss the eye of terror codex, it being no longer legal in any tourney anywhere.

Yes the lists were horrificaly unbalanced, but they were extremly characterful and fun to play with : you can't go wrong with teleporting space wolves in spikey armour, eldar guardians who could ACTUALLY FIGHT supported by monstrous creature / psyker units, and of course my beutiful Lost and Damned : mutants with two attacks each, allied csms and non-generic daemons, and spawn units!

With the advent of apocalypse, I was pleased to see the mutant datasheet - but they took my daemonic mutations and made me three points: cheap but useless, especially the big muties. And they used to be so... tentacular.

LATD was balanced and used my many players as rules for proxy armies.

Had a different idea concept: LATD provided a plethora of options that you could use for ADMECH, killer droids, genie, true chaos in all its glory, even completely new races of your own design.

-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

The land of cotton.

I miss my LatD list. That was fun army to play. I ran a Plague Zombie infested IG list.

Currently in the process of rebuilding it as a Traitor Guard army but it's going to lose some flavor without the shambling hordes of brainsuckers.

Green Git, you can do that with Send in the Next Wave Conscripts. I've got plans for a Nurgle Zombie Traitor Guard after I finish painting up my CSM. It'll be great, because I'd then have a coherent force large enough for Appoc (just bearly).
