Hey guys,
Just a short introduction . I'm from London and I'm 27 I used to try and paint the warhammer models when I was about 10 and when they were all led, well that's how I remember them anyway. I've never been a Warhammer gamer but I've always enjoyed the cool models and have seen my friend paint some fantastic stuff over the years and it sort of stirred me to try and have a go again at painting. I really enjoy it and hope in the near future to maybe play a game and see how much I enjoy that side of it. I'm a complete novice and I dont understand anything so all the game based jargon will be lost with me I will be driving some of you mad in the near future with my noobishness and asking the best method of painting faces because it's something I am struggling a bit with at the moment.

Welcome to dakka.
check out the painting and moldeling section of the forum, and also the best way to get advice on your painting. . post some pics and have the people of dakka critique your work.

Welcome .One bit of advice dont paint eyes onto miniatures  they usually look naff if youre not a steady painter.

Welcome to dak dak¡ A little advice that i have had success with is base coat then wash with either devlan mud or gryphonne sephiathen a light dry brush with your flesh tone and a light wash on that and then highlight.
|
Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, its just a freight train coming your way!
