Blood Angel Neophyte Undergoing Surgeries

Greetings,

I am a new player to Warhammer 40k, with a side army in Fantasy. Both are in the stages of construction. With a great deal of help from people I know at my Local Game Store, I'm slowly building it up.

My current army focus is Blood Ravens, as I prefer the acquisition of knowledge over it's destruction. Although I'm still fussing with how to play them, as I enjoy the thought of them being an experiment the Thousand Sons performed on Blood Angels to try and access precognition/Future sight for Magus' magic, I'm always willing to work with what I'm doing to try and make it acceptable. That being said, my stance on the new Blood Angels codex is that is annoys me fluffwise. Crunch-wise, I'm oblivious to what everything means. Other than the Blood Talons, which I'm trying to figure out how to put on terminators lead by a Chaplin.

In Fantasy, I'm going Bretonnian for now. I've managed to get some from a friend who no longer play them. We shall see where it all goes.

I have looked around and noted a great deal, and have found many tutorials and discussions to be highly enlightening. And will be looking forward to discussing what little I have with everyone else.

How is it they live in such harmony - the billions of stars - when most men can barely go a minute without declaring war in their minds about someone they know.

Brets tend to be very point a click.

It all depends on charging (usually 2nd turn) and combo charging, then desperately spinning around to hit other units.
Their big downfall is panic and fear/terror. If they run or don't charge, they really struggle.

In saying that if you love cav, and ranked cav (thanks to the lance) they are the way to go over other armies.
