Hello Dakkabods.

My name is Vash, I'm 37 and I'm addicted to plastic and pewter soldiers... oh wrong intro..

I joined Dakka ages ago but have never posted.

Why the sudden urge to post? Well the call of the Waargh is upon me and I thought it would be polite to say hello before asking dumass questions in anybodies Project thread.

I collect Chaos as my main army but decided there was more fun and scope to be had from da boyz and sum mekkin when it came to playing Apocalypse. (Chaos Titans are so hard to build from scratch. )

I'm terrible at getting things painted and currently have set myself the task of doing a Mech force with as many tanks/wagons as possible to avoid having to paint too many boyz ( Not the best way to play Orks I know.)
Although the first thing is to get a 1500pt force up and usable to get the hang of playing without power armour and a BS of 2.

I went for a Goff based army as they have always appealed, when I had my old Kult of Speed army I did a mixed clan force and found the Goffs easier to paint.

I have been tinkering in the hobby since I was about ten ( A unofficial Uncle got me some stuff) and started off just getting random fantasy minis and then meticulously hiding all the detail with a nice thick coat of enamel paint.

You may know my name from other forums , Heresy Online being my main haunt because I am staff there. Hopefully you won't hold that against me though.

If you could be bovvered to read that far thankyou, I look forward to conversing on the boards.

Vash

Welcome to Dakka Dakka!

Lol no anime connection really. I can be a bit of a bull in a china shop on occasion but not a full stampede.

It came from my original online persona Vash the Violator just as a V to match, I later dropped the Violater bit as it was a bit rubbery, battery powered and had some unfortunate search results. Viscount was added as simply another V really.

Thanks for the warm welcome folks.
