I still claim the title even if I am not much of a rookie anymore. I have only played 40k since febuary but, I am a born natural and have a pretty decent record. I have played fantasy since 2003 and i believe that has helped me loads as I am excellent at guessing range and getting into range for charges. Which brings me to my first army. Chaos Space Marines! Lead of course by my berzerkers.
All in all I have 4 armies with several variants:
Space Marines
Imperial Guard
Chaos Space Marines
Daemons
I kind of got addicted to 40k real quick. Did not start collecting until the end of febuary and already have 4 armies. 
I live in the KC area. I dont know how many KC gamers are on here.

SM around 4000 give or take 1k
IG around 6500 give or take 1k
daemons around 2000
yea, I got a bonus from the army and put it to what I thought was good use.
