Many moons ago I picked up a big black box, a command squad, a paint starter set, and a tactical squad and promptly put them in the closet and forgot about them. A few months back I was hanging out with some friends when it came up they all played 40k and various other wargames. Now half way through my fine arts degree with a emphasis on industrial design I figured dusting off some of those old boxes might be a fun way to get more hands on experience with colour theory and 3-D design. As I am still pretty new to the hobby(although not so new so much with modelling) I naturally have some questions, so here we go:

1.) When a place requires say 50% GW on a model is this by weight, volume, or number of parts usually?

2.) How exactly does a lascannon/twin linked plasma gun on a razorback work?

3.) Are the full plans for the Clouseau pattern Rhino lost forever?

4.) Am I to understand that Castellan Missiles are no longer kosher?

5.) Is it impossible to get Land raider MkI parts?

6.) Is it koshor to use elements of different Astartes codexes if fluff can back it up?

7.) How long was the Land raider MkI made before the MkII model was released?

8.) Are models from other GW games such as Space hulk and Space crusade usable in 5th ed armies?

9.) Did the Hercules tank ever dee the light of day outside an illustration or two in White dwarf?

10.) There is no model for the Stormraven, is there?

11.) On a scale of 1-10 how difficult is it to sculpt a face/head at 28mm heroic scale?

12.) Are the Dark Eldar being phased out?

Not from experience but i would think about a 8-9. 12. No they are to supposed to be getting a new codex really soon.....Yeah we have heard this before but we will see.

As far as the questions go. (the ones vindi#9 didnt answer)

2- If the razorback momves at combat speed or less it can fire, counts as one weapon (lascannon is Heavy 1 not heavy 2) but you can re-roll to hit if you fail 1st time round

3- no idea

4-dont think so

5-google it, they might be pretty easy to find...I've never looked.

6- In a tourney you normaly have to just use one codex, if your playing with friends and they dont mind then go for it!

7-no idea.

I have the plans for a clouseau rhino, and have one of them (built to same size as a landraider).

But the plans are in a backup disc from almost a decade ago, in a box of about 50-60 of them, so no chance of me looking for it any time soon.
