Hello and welcome to dakka. Personally i dont think it is. Think what else you could buy for about £70 model wise. You could make a 1000 point ork army for nearly that price! So if you want it to be a magnificiant centerpiece then yes maybe it would be a good idea. Sorry if i was to harsh on my first post.  Its just i bought a forgeworld model before and regretted it.

It's an absolutely beautiful model, with an amazing amount of detail. As a biker, I was happy to see that they had proper motorcycle parts involved, such as the brake lever leading off to the front calipers and how the forks are mounted.
That said, if you're just wanting a toy, and not a showpiece model, you'd do better to just convert one.

I've got one, It's a fantastically detailed model and the fit was excellent.
Well worth the money.
