I recently moved back in with an old friend from high school and we both decided that we should start playing Warhammer 40K, like we had started to years before. So, I found my found a local hobby store, dusted off my old models, and have gotten to work finishing their paint jobs and getting a real painted, WYSIWYG, no stand-ins army ready, something I never had in high school. Right now I am bringing my Imperial Guard Cadian army into the new edition and trying to come up with something besides Veterans in Chimeras that can beat my roommate's Eldar, while still being a well-rounded army.

I've also just purchased Assault on Black Reach for the new rulebook and the Space Marines, which will someday be a part of my Red Talons chapter, which will likely play with Blood Angels rules and be modeled with Iron Hands style bionics. I'm definitely better at converting and painting than I am at playing, but I'm certainly not a pro at any of them. I've lurked on the forums for a month or so now, especially the Painting and Modeling forum, and decided that I really need to sign up to get the most out of the community, and to throw my two cents in when I can.
