Hey all was brought here by a buddy. I love browsing the gallery for brainstorming ideas, this is by far the best site I have yet to find on the nets for Warhammer 40k.
As for myself I am a budding 40k player my first army being Tau. I am a huge mehca fan :p
So far my army consists of:
16 Kroot + 2 Kroot hounds
11 Fire warriors
1 Sniper team
1 Crysis Suit
1 Hammer Head/ Sky Ray/ Devil fish (I have it fully magnetized to swap out parts for what I need)
1 Piranha
3 Stealth suits
1 Broadside
3 Path Finders
HQ choices include:
Shadowsun
or
Farsight (I made him out of a crysis suit using green stuff, a spare gun drone and a demon prince's sword. Pics in my gallery, but the camera I used wouldn't focus so they are rather blurry :( ) (He is also my proudest creation)
My army grows bit by bit and I am still painting and building allot of it :/
OH! And I have played 1 750 point 1v1v1 and got steam rolled by chaos and necrons  but it gave me an idea as wo how to build my army! 
Anyways that is my intro I hope to meet many friendly people who are willing to cope with a complete newbie xP

Thanks man. I'll probably get around to it some time in the morning then. Just thought I would post what I've been doing thus far  It's better then a "hi, im new, be nice to me please" haha

Well its really simple on tanks like the Tau's. Due to the fact that the only real thing to do is the turrets on their backs. Tomorrow when I get my camera on the go I can post some pics of where they are located on it just for a point of reference for you if you want  Also, the citadel precision hand drill is pretty useful for it to put in smaller magnets into weapons and backpacks. Note that all the magnets are rare earth magnets.
