So after organizing a big apocalypse battle (biggest of its kind in the country) I decided I needed to get my act together and actually paint my little men as 6000 pts of grey doesn't really look as impressive as it sounds. So yeah, I've decided to join the online community which will hopefully help me focus and really get some work done on my armies. And I've got a few questions which I will be posting in the relevant forums. Will be starting a blog in the next few days and hopefully keep it interesting.

Got the geek code thing done which just about covers the basics. I'm definitely an avid modeler, which, in my case anyway, means I generally have a lot more models made that painted. Have over 3000 pts Black Templar and 3000 pts Relictors which will be the armies I'll be focusing on painting.

Originally from NZ myself, so only half a Chinese gamer actually.

But yeah, in Beijing and Shanghai there are getting to be quite a few 40k gamers now. I remember a few years back there were only a couple in all of China's 1.4 billion population.

I am new (1 month in) and I have a 3000 + point daemon army. I just finished putting most of the models together and priming them chaos black. Next, I will be painting them. There is a tournament at the end of the month, and by that point I hope to be fully painted. Fully detailed will come with time. One of the main reasons I got into 40k was the appearance of the models, and the creativity one could use painting them. So I applaud your decision to paint your armies, because it sucks to go to a tournament and have an army you spent weeks making look nice, and then play someone with an all grey army.
