So I really liked the new battle wagon kit, but had ONE major issure with it, it was to small in my opinion. So this Sunday I decided to make a bigger battle wagon using 2 of the new kits. I still have some work to do, such as filing some parts down and smoothing a few areas out.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks
Dakkafang

Its not that hard. The new kits lends very well to conversions. The hardest part was the cab, cutting the two top sections to fit takes some work. As you can see by the large white putty gash lol

That is an epic Battle Wagon!!!

It reminds me of the 2nd edition model, which itself may have been a conversion because I don't remember it being available in-store ever.

Stick a Big Mek with KFF in there and he can cover whole table quarter

Can we see more pics please?

Bigger is better! Imagine tank shocking or ramming with that. Gives the impression that it can simply steamroll over everything in its path.

That's one way to do it - I just used plasticard to biggerize mine. Still, very nice work, it looks might iimpressive!

A few of you wanted more pics so here you go. I added on the track guards, the armor plates on the cab side walls/rails. Added some Ork glyphs and finished the second small rokkit turrent.

A friend had a Land Raider he let me use for a size comparison.

No Ard top and my Big Mek with KFF

Side Profile and Finished Solo.

Not sure on the placement of the small rokkiit turrents yet, have to move them around to where I want them to sit.

Enjoy and comments welcome.

That looks really terrific. I agree, the battlewagon simply isn't quite beefy enough as is. This nicely fits the slot between "small battlewagon" and "battle fortress".

Ive always wondered what a widened BW would actually look like. Very nice, a bit costly though, so thats a pretty big problem for me

Ya it was a bit pricey. BUT I was pleased to see that with all the extra bits I got, I could finish my looted wagon and then some.

I kind of want to pick up a stompa just for all the bits you get in the kit.

Orks don't care - they just call them all Battlewagons. But we players like to refer to the more impressive Mek Invenshuns as Battle Fortresses.

Nice work here. Apparently you have a little bit of that Mad Mek energy going on. Congrats on pulling this wagon together.
