Im new here, and am just getting the ropes of things.
I was wondering if i could get some feedback on a bare bones list im getting together.
I play Guard, just started a month ago. I've been playing on and off for about 7 months now, started out with salamanders, but i still need A LOT of work before i can be decent at 40k. So i was just wondering if i could get some suggestions for my IG list, or is that considered spaming?
again, im new here, dont hate please.

(im running 1600pts with this right now, and i plan to have a Leman Russ or two, and another chimera and/or command squad)
7 Veteran Squads
- Each with 3 plasma
- each with 1 hwt
- each have vox caster
- doctrine for each is grenadiers (that or forward sentries)

1 manticore
- w/extra amrour
- heavy bolter secondary
- dozer blade (not sure if i need it, seeing as the manticore wont really be moving.

2 chimeras
- dozer blades
- extra armour (should i give camo netting?)
- heavy flamer secondary,
- mounted heavy stubbers

Company Command squad
- Power fist
- mdi pack
- regimental standard
- vox caster
- melta gun
- carapace armour (w/ camo cloaks?)

Again, im just looking for some advice in getting started with dakka dakka and my army as well.
if this is inappropriate for posting, please let me know so i can remove it.
thanks
