Hello. My name is Chris. I've been interested in Warhammer since I was in middle school when i found an old 40k catalog (with a badass Dark Angel on the cover) and I was amazed by all the awesome models. Of course I didn't have any money, nor did I full realize it was even a game til much later. Fast forward about 13 years and I'm working with a guy who cleans out junk from houses. He trashes most of it and resells the rest. On one of these jobs, there just so happens to be a big box full of tons of old Warhammer Fantasy and 40k stuff. I tell him I'll buy it, whatever he wants for it. He tells me $20. So of course I said yes. Thus my interest in Warhammer was rekindled. Since then I've been slowly amassing more miniatures and trying to learn all the rules. Luckily I have a girlfriend who is as interested in the game as I, so I don't get the "grow up, etc" speech.  She even got me a Stompa last year for Christmas.
Right now I'm starting a Deathskulls Orks army and my fiancee, Ghoulyscout is working on an Emperor's Children Chaos Space Marines army. We've recently started to play about once a month at a friends house, against Tyrannids and Space Marines.
That's pretty much all I've got.

It was a TON of old plastic beakie marines (easily enough to make at LEAST 50 marines), a rhino, LOTS and LOTS of old single piece metal Eldar, some old single piece metal Space Marines, fantasy orcs, beastmen, harlequins and elves, a dragon, some apocalypse chaos titans, eldar titans (still in the package), a bunch of fantasy undead, an undead skeleton chariot and catapault, a bunch of random bits and other random models.. probably more, but I can't remember it all

Yeah I am lucky to have her  But with the models, aside from the rhino and the bits, I'm not really using most of it, at least not yet, lol.
