madmartykmf - Cheers. It is a good film once in a while...a bit like spinal tap. As for spraying indoors, I find that opening the window and putting the extractor fan on helps...if I put on a dust mask and Abi caught me she would never let me spray indoors again lol Looking forward to seeing some new buildings from your good self soon
Earthbeard - Thank you. The rats worked out well, I really should come up with names for them too. I'm glad I got rid of the third one though, I think in this case less is more.
Ok Dakka join in the fun and please name the two small rats and the giant rat with Fleck. Names in the hat stylie

madmartykmf - Thanks mate, I get yelled at enough. Honestly and seriously though now that the weather has improved my kitchen really is a safely and well ventilated room. I have no intention of doing anything to cause my lungs any harm. Hope that reassures you. Oh and apparently its not nagging if you care.
The Good Green - Thanking you. Yeah it did turn out well... I think the wip picture makes it look bad since its such a contrast between gs and metal.
monkeytroll - Since you're the only person to chip in with names.... Bernard and Bianca win the little rat naming contest, you sir are a genius, I loved those Disney mice. I will edit Fleck's post to advise other of their names. As for the big one Splinter is too obvious and Algeron just doesn't do it for me. So Cyber rat still up for naming.
Sageheart - Cheers. Well the next thing to pop up here will definitely be some scavvy dogs....or maybe a wyrd.
Cyber Rat is still needing a names.

Earthbeard - Thanks but its not quite right. I am going for movie/tv theme for the names for the gang...hence Bernard and Bianca worked they are two mice from the Rescuers, that can talk.....mice are almost rats.....Fleck thinks the rats talk to him....hence it works. Sorry I'm a picky arse. Thanks anyway. But feel free to have another go.
Sageheart - Well it will be a scavvy themed Wyrd. I'm planning on using the blind champion head from the ghouls sprue and working down from there. The home brew rules I'm planning on using, which are a combination of GW's, Outlanders, Anthony Case's and bits and bobs from over on the eastern fringes, have 20 mutations and Wyrd is one of them (the mutant gets a roll on the minor powers table from Outlanders). I should probably post the rules in here at some point. But the reason he falls into phase two is because I can also use him as a hired gun when using the monstrously bad official scavvy rules.
delrohir - Thank you. I am getting the hang of my new camera....though I cannot get a good one of a Nurlge Champion I've painted. Oh well...shrugs

Well I have finally finished something in 2011!!!! Unfortunately nothing particularly interesting and this really is a poor update.
I have completed six more of the rusty bulkheads as seen on page 4. http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/90/309038.page
Which means I have 7 still unpainted (1 red/6 rusty) so nearly done....so far its only taken... what 16 years!

Scarper - Ha ha....well some terrain is back and I've not even taken pictures. I might have a scavvy for you soon. The dogs really are on hold at the mo So many ideas and so little time. The eyes are doing ok now and the new glasses are in working order.
madmartykmf - I'm not sure if you're comparing me to Frankenstein monster or not? Was that thunder and lightning in the background?!
neil101 - It feels so good to have finished something....I just wish it was a miniature. Thanks but I've got the rats named...I'll be naming dogs later this year...since I need D3+1. That leaves me with D3 to name, since +1 is already called Scarper (he really is like a dog with a bone ).

Ok productive morning. I've been struggling with railings for my Necromunda walkways for ages. This morning I found these at my local railway model shop....I'm not sure what they are but they work well for my hard cover needs. I cut them up to make them go further.
I'm unsure what colour I'll be painting them...probably red and rusty to match the bulk heads.

Hey Neil. I got the double tread plasticard sheeting from Antenocitis Workshop, when Space Hulk came out and never used it (or Space Hulk for that matter ).

Do you reckon I should paint the black parts at the ends in warning stripes.

Great walkways, simple but very convincing.
Warning stripes? Necromunda evergreen, but the area is a bit to big for that don't you think? Wouldn't look bad though.
So the sheeting is that cheap at anteno's. I never recognized. Good to know, because I will definitely need some (stacks) of it for my necro table. I hesitated so far, since there are lots of shops selling a sheet for around 20€

Chibi - Cheers mate. While I am sure it would have saved you a lot of tedium the three walkways I've finished probably cost me in the region of £4 each. Besides if I had the know how (and time) I'm sure I would have bought one set of the barriers and cast them up (for my own personal use of course).
Baiyuan - Hey. Thank you. I'm almost decided on cutting the black ends off. Mainly because its just another texture to paint and I don't think they really add that much. But I will have a game with them before I hack them up, just to make sure.
20 euros ouch!! What size was it? The stuff I bought was A4. Before you actually buy the tread plate plasticard I suggest you have a look in your local railway model shop (assuming you have one near by). I'm sure it would be cheaper, if they have it, since my local railway model shop now sells it and I think its about a £1 per sheet. I'll check next time I am in mine.
