Here's my army I've been working on and adding on to - mostly Khorne stuff but with some other units mixed in for variety.

Very nice, especially the demon prince, i only have 2 gripes though.

1. The base on the raptor guy (with the lightning claws) really takes away from the rest of the model. Maybe stencil the 8 pointed star instead of freehanding

2. The ork head on the land raider looks way too "alive" DEADIFY HIM!

What about your outcast Terminator Lord hiding over there on the "Shelf of Shame"?

Seriously, people. His army looks fantastic during our games. I am envious.

I'll try the stencil idea on that base and failing that, probably just paint it solid black. Stupid top heavy model kept falling over even with two washers under the base!

Also, orc head is now more deaderest. Thanks for the suggestions

Its nice to see a fully painted army too many people play with unpainted stuff and never paint there army . And i think you can take this army to the next level with some of the new games workshop washes .

How long have you been playing?
Do you have any 2ed chaos books?
The back ground for the Emperors children was bright loud paint on there armor. Because they couldn't see any thing else.
The Noise Marines need jagged black lines in weird patterns and that would fit the fluff very well.

I've only been into the customization game for about 3 months now...

considering I only started playing last november! I was only just recently able to build up the guts to start chopping up models...

I really like your termies, does your army have any fluff or did you just pick up models you liked?

@ sonofruss - I started with a Necron army a few years ago, then when I moved I stopped playing. Once I moved back to Salt Lake City, I picked the game back up and started working on this army around Nov. of last year. So I don't have any 2ed books.

I wasn't a fan of the standard black/pink color scheme for Noise Marines, so I picked the another annoying bright color and used Tin Bitz as a darker constrast color.

@ Corey85 - Thanks! I started out as wanting to do a mostly Khorne themed army called the Black Hands of Khorne, hence most of the vehicles being painted in red and brass. Any hand holding a CC weapon in the army is painted black as a result. It was originally led by the winged Chaos Lord, Warlord Vrayne but he ended up being kinda squishy. I added the Thousand Son squad with the matching Sorc Lord as a result - fluff-wise I gave the reason that the Khorne army slaughtered a TS army and only the single squad and Sorcerer survived by bowing to the lord and promising great power, also helping to kill the reminder of the army. The Sorc, being a Tzeentch-y fellow, knew that his lord and master could bend this powerful lord to his will given enough time. Eventually Vrayne ascended to demonhood, but in the favor of Tzeentch! (ignore the Khorne symbol on his back for now - waiting for the new DP model to come out)

The terminators were always a seperate unit called the Bone Guard, attached to the rest of the army with promises of battle, power and wealth. They do not always fight alongside the rest of the army, (mainly because I fail at making termie armor saves) but when they do, it's always an epic battle.

The Noise marine squad is from a Slannesh warband called the Knights of Ecstasy, joining the army after seeing a bloody and extremely savage battle fought by the Black Hands.

At this point, since it was no longer just a Khorne army, it was renamed the Black Hands of Ruin.

So yes, I guess there's a bit of fluff there.

The work on the army is brilliant!

However, as much as it kills me to say it, you need to neaten up your painting a little bit.

Otherwise, there are some great conversions and a lot of chaos killing power.

Keep it up.

Having that many fully painted models is always something to be applauded.

Although they ARE Noise Marines so you're supposed to flinch...

Verily! Glaring yellow and blasting The Beatles from their sonic weapons, they are a formidable foe.

Definitely a Revolution in Chaos weaponry. Giving the enemy a Hard Day's Night. Glad they have a Rhino so they can Come Together as a squad. (although with Slaanesh that could be a double entendre)

I love the yellow noise marines and purple thousand sons.

And your demon prince is fleshtastic.
