I was originally posting updates for this project on another Knight Titan forum, but decided it wasn't proper as that forum is dedicated to a very specific knight. I will post my current update pics in order, and then continue until the project is complete. If anyone reading this has their own Knight Titans they're working on please feel free to post them as well. All are welcome, and I look forward to seeing other peoples work. Cheers

Here are the first set of pics taken. My plan is to make him look like he's just destroyed a traitor guard Chimera, and he's lining up his next shot.

...wow... very epic.

What are you structuring him out of? Is that all sculpy putty, or resin?

After dry fitting his legs, and using some sticky tack to get an idea of where I needed his legs I finally started attaching them. I'm always so worried I'm going to ruin big projects like this before I really get started.

That is awesome you've really got the look and the size right it seems to me! Can't wait to see more and you say you've got a household. How many Knights are there? Do they have supporting troops? Can we see them?

It is an oath we honour. Hey Guys,
Wehrkind, the knight is cast completely out of resin. There is some green stuff on him, but most of that was used to fix air bubbles and spacing issues.

Llamahead, this knight is the first of what will eventually be 5 knights. There is also a 6th knight, that is much larger than his brothers, that I plan on using as a newly descovered STC scout titan. I'm currently working the fluff for that whole campaign.

Guys, thanks a lot for the interest. More pics on the way.

Next update. This is the base I am working on for the knight. The last three pics are of the battle damage the knight has inflicted on the traitor Chimera with his battle cannon.

I had hoped to get some solid work done and complete this knight this weekend, but alas the time was not available. Oh well, I did at least manage to get his Close Combat Weapon in place and do my final dry fit for his stance. Next step is all the minute details, ie AM symbles, cables, ext. Anyway, here are the next set of pics.

I love the diaroma, but the feet on the knight titan, just dont fit it( reminds me of mickymouse) but over all its get. I would try to plastic card some more armour around the ball joints so they look more sturdier.. but other then that its aces. What color are you going to paint it?

looks great, but a bit out of place, kinda unpreportional, but still looks pretty good

Great looking knight, must have been a lot of sculpting and casting, can't wait to see the rest. Nice to see another fellow Iron Hands player!

Hey everyone thanks for the comments.
-Stargate, the plasticard armor is a good idea. I had actually been beating around the idea of possibly using the tranks skirts from some IG tanks but I haven't made up my mind. As for a color scheme I really don't know yet. I was thinking Black, Red, and Yellow, but definitely open to suggestions.
-Heliodore, I just wanted to clarify that this knight isn't my original creation. I purchased this one, along with 4 others of the internet. I wish I could claim him though. And yes, it is definitely nice to see another Iron Hands player. Long live the clan companies of Medusa!!!!!

Ahhh, thanks for clarifying, well it's shaping up well, good job in getting it together and in such a nifty pose. The base will certainly give it character. So, is the kit worth it, would you recommend it to a friend?

Very nice indeed!

When I was purchasing my Knights it came down to two manufactures.

This one and someone out of France (I believe!).

I went with the other one, but this one is very good too!

I'm liking the diorama, but maybe it should have been a chaos marine rhino getting the boot?

Thanks for the compliments. Yes, I would definitely recommend this kit to someone interested. There were quite a few imperfections from the casting process, but overall very detailed. The maker also has quite a few other options for this kit.

Yep, there was another guy, big daddy, making knights as well. Two of the other ones in this household are his knights. They're great kits, but smaller overall than the one I'm currently building. Also, I had contemplated using a Chaos Rhino, but every chaos story GW makes says something about "virtually half the Imperial Guard/ PDF turned to chaos." so I decided to go with a traitor Chimera instead. It was bigger, and I felt it added more character the piece. I was going to carve the chaos icons into the tank, but felt that wasn't realistic. I mean, how long would it take for someone to actually carve into the armor of an APC, so I'm just going to paint the traitor symbols on instead.

Hmmm, can't find bladenmaiden on ebay. Sure that's right?
Because, they are very nice . And I've been looking for something to offset my ever halfpainted AC reaver.
Why not do it with an unpainted somethingelse titan =D

I hope you don't mind my asking, but where are the rules for Knight Titans? This blog's intrigued me, and I might have to get one for my Traitor Guard.

Awesome work by the way, I can't wait to see the next update.

I contacted Bladenmaiden before I started this thread. He said to email him at his private email and he should be able to set up an order.

Wow, no kidding! And at $40 shipped for 3, that's a very good deal. I know where half of my next paycheck's going...

Hey Everybody,
I just got back in town and wanted to post a quick update. I've finally permanently attached the night to his base. I've attached his "knee cap" armour and glued some Imperial iconography to him. Next I plan on adding some cabling to the arms and so targeting devices in the "visor" slit.
