It was a Tau Hammerhead, till it the Scorpion ripped its railcannon off and then immobalised it (by ripping its thrusters off lol) The Sting cannon also loves to destroy Kroot!! ^_^

Are the legs as poseable as they look?

The whole thing is made from 2 Defiler kits and a Dark Eldar Raider kit, the Legs can be poseable but i glued them for stability, the Tail gun is also removable for transporting! Its a beast on the table! I also have a custom Blood Slaughterer made from a defiler kit too, didnt see the point in paying crazy FW prices for a model thats only slightyly taller than a dreadnaught! >.<

Anyways, it's a pretty cool model. I take it is based off the Bloodreaper defiler in the 4th ed 40k Rulebook. It was a pretty awesome model that one.

Though, I do think the paint scheme lets it down. It looks really, really boring. I get it that it is a 'Brass' Scorpion, but a little extra colour would do wonders for it.

I did say "not finished painting him yet but couldnt resist!" so yeah the Scorpion is def gonna have more colour to it when i'm finished! Also i said the FW Blood Slaughterer is only marginally bigger than a dreadnaught not the FW Scorpion, hence why i built my own,

p.s. the FW scorpion does look pretty but its mostly a nice paint job and the resin its made from is nowhere near strong enough to support the actual models weight on the leg joints! "bendy" Resin >.<

The blood sl. is indeed just a bit bigger than a dread (got an impaler version)

all in all though, looks great, however, im a sucker for being stung by FW's price

So ill possibly end up with one of thiers.

heed my warning about the "bendy" resin legs! a mate of mine has bought and sold on 2 of them! he thought the fisrt one might just have been a bad mold or bad resin but the subsequent one was just as bad! wish FW would just use normal plastic! there really is no reason for them to use resin! >.<

Funnily enough mate the legs on mind were somewhat bendy.

So ive had to drill out large holes (2.5mm) through the leg sections and throw in some brass rod.

Fine now, not even a slight bend.
