Does anyone have tips on creating a Big Mek with a KFF. I have a box of lootas that came with a big mek. Any tips on creating a KFF without buying the single metal model?

I made my KFF of some flying stems, glued beads to the top and then just used plasticard to add detail, I think it works ok and is pretty cheap to put together:



Ideally I'd say it's preferable to base it off a Nob body as a Big Mek has the same statline but after that I'd say go nuts, the Mek head from the Loota box is great as everyone recognises it as a Mek and so will assume any model with it is one.

My big mek has no leg or torso bitz, I used gas cans, barrels, drums, etc... for body parts.

Nice KFFs, CT GAMER! I'm loving the steam powered whatzimajigger on the white primed mek, especially.

Those are pretty bad ass I have to say.

Yes..I know the pictures are gak,but theses are my two converted BigMeks with KFF.

One was made from parts of a SAG Mek,the other is made from a Nob and bits from the Loota kit and various odds and ends in my bitz box.

Given most of these look WIP, I'll add my own

Base is a Nob body. KFF and trigger hand from the Big Mek with KFF (modified ) Burna is from Lootas/Burnas. Mek Tools from the Techmarine Servo Harness - with added Orky bits from the Runtherd sprue.

Looks reat. Hard to go wrong with meks lol. Instructions should just say "Add Dakka Here"

I used a couple of voxcasters from one of my friends leftover chimera boxes. Just glued them together on the mek's back and it looked great.

Spare loota/burna bitz work well too.

I took a couple of bitz from the Gretchin Herder Sprue:

Simple but gets the point across.

Man that head is really mekky. Nice work.

My KFF Burna Mek was made using nothing but bitz from my bitz box - I didn't have any bigger body parts left, like from Nobs, so I worked to make the KFF OTT to compensate.

Effing epic that.
