Here's some quick snaps of my gargant WIP. A little more weathering, rivets, basing, riggers, and some final detailing to go before paint

Anything else this is missing?

HOLY CRAP! Please, get a distance shot of it, so I can see it a bit better.

That is AWESOME!

The arms needs a bit more glyph-stuff and armor plating, as it looks a bit too tidy.

I don't like the Stompa saw on it like that - looks tacked on. Maybe bring it in a bit tighter to the arm?

Anyhow, looks awesome and I cannot wait to see this painted!

Thanks for the input... I was having mixed emotions about the positioning myself. That's enough to convince me to cut it off and reposition it.

Looks cool, but can't really tell much from the close ups, maybe a pic or two from a few feet away?

really dig the use of plasticard and the components you've used so far - pictures from a distance would be great too!!

Now I need to decide how to paint it... Should it be primarily metalic with random painted bits? Primarily a color w/ metal showing through? A collection of randomly colored plates bolted together? What have most of you seen?

I like that it doesn't suffer from what I think of as "needing a sandwich syndrome". It's chunky in all the right places. Good job!

in a little hole in the ground...crying myself to sleep

EPIC

I think you should paint it like it's been thrown together and quickly painted (put 2 or more layers of colors on every few plates, and keep the rest rusted)

Conduct While Gaming
While rolling a die, do not say, “Anything but a 1!” unless you wish the die to come up as 1. Any other such attempts to anger the “Dice Gods” will result in the existential equivalent of continuously flipping a coin and having it come up heads every time (for reference, see Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead). Your dice will be cursed to roll ones for everything other than morale checks, which will come up sixes.

ORK PLAYERS HAVE A LIMIT OF 1 SCREAMS OF WAAAAAAGH PER HOUR. violators will be forced to play tau.

Players with chimeras and las weapons shall pronounce chimera ki-mere-uh, not chim-ere-uh. Violators will be forced to play nothing but world eaters. Non-40k personnel must purchase and build a chimera.

I decided the best way to tackle the project would be to paint it a section at a time instead of layering up the whole model at once. So-

Right Arm Painted!

Awesome! That stompa is entirely impressive. I love the face and over all design. The paint is coming along quite well, too.

Can we get a pic face on, but not from above, and aways out, all the pics are so close up! I'd like to see that angle a bit better, but so far so good.
