Mini diorama progress WIP

this is just to show you how my mini diorama is going i will try to put up lots of photos on how its going and i also hope you can give some good sugestions

here are the first few photos of how it is coming along the wholes in the chaos space marine are meant to be plasma shot wounds

Looking real sweet. Are you planning on having the chaos bikers armor melting from the plasma hits?

D**n! This one looks really cool. I think this diorama will end up looking really awesome! I like how you have made the SM turn around to shot the chaos marine. And the small detail with the bolter falling from his hand! Also, are you going to make some damage to the bikes too? like they have been shooting at eachother and hit eachothers bikes?

yea there will be lots of battle damage the SM will be a White Scar & the CSM will be goldey bronse with rust. i realy apresiat your comments

which one of these colour schemes would you like to see on the chaos biker

I would vote for: 2. The Reborn scheme is one of my favourite ones, and it may be a good contrast with the loyalist biker's scheme. You should remember it's a Nurgle warband (as I saw in some unofficial fluff, they were revived from a battlefield) so the inside of his wounds could be some rotten colors.

I say go with the first one. I'm actually doing a termi from The Purge chapter right now but the black and green is almost a perfect opposite of the red and white sm. That contrast would support the theme of guy x vs guy y.

The first one, and have the blue of the plasma spilling out all over it from the holes. This is going to be awesome.

The schemes have grey in common, so it would both tie the two Marines and make their differences stand out more.

From a modelling perspective, it seems you haven't cleaned the mould lines very thoroughly, which kinda wastes an otherwise awesome job...

Also, you haven't answered TheChronoTrigger's question about plasma-melting armour...

The WS biker's pose is literally the most awesome ever. It has pace, and is super-dynamic for a bike rider. The Chaos guy getting shot however looks like he's saying "Awwww, come on!"

My vote is for scheme #1. I think the contrasting colors will look great. I liked InventionThirteen's idea about the blue plasma. You could do some OSL on both the plasma pistol and the wounds. I think it could add some great cohesiveness to the scene. Thoughts?

The modeling of your White Scar is fantastic! (though I do agree with Yggdrasil about the mold lines) Have you thought about rotating the CSM head down into the chest some? It might add some impact dynamic to him.
