Iv been toying with the idea of making up so scratch built BFG stuff for a while now.

i sant down this morning just to do a little hobby-ing, but could stop till i had this done. Well its still WIP until i decide how to weaponise it.



Once this one is done, i think i will have a go at something quite a bit bigger. Like an APOCALYPSE CLASS BATTLESHIP.

Well here is a little update, if anyone is interested. I know BGF isn't everyones cuppa.

Looks awesome, a lot like those from the Horus Heresy collected works book, only criticism is that it is frigate, not fridget

Love it! Was just thinking about BFG. Good to see a hobbyist of your calibre starting out. I think perhaps you need something to break up the prow a bit. The eagle is a good start, but maybe some relief details? Or were you considering (tiny) freehand?

Excellent start. I was just looking at my BFG stuff at the back of the "to do" cabinet earlier this week, might have to pull a few ships out for painting....

Nice, I've been planing a larger scale BFG for a couple years now. School keeps getting in the way. I like how you are able to capture the look so well with such basic shapes. Good eye for design.

BFG is by far and away one of the best gaming systems that GW ever came out with. Efficient rules and quick to play. Pretty awesome from a tactical point of view as well. Hats of to you for burgeoning Saturn Shipyard.
