The base needs work, the gems need work and you've got to much metal. There should be none since It's wraithbone.

That's really nice, I like the blue highlight and the your skin is really well done.

Take a look in the Eldar codex. I see black Wraithbone with bronze just like mine. Nuff said.

My weapons are all metallic as well

I really like the guardian, a very impressive paintjob.

Do note however, that in the showcase you should only post painted & based models

I think he should put a helmet on, everyone knows the guy without the helmet dies first.

Im not a fan of metallics for wraithbone, but thats just personal preference.

That aside I like the paintjob, love the blue.

If you must criticise, do it nicely, "I think the jems need some work, and maybe the base as well. I personaly dont like all the metal." And if you have to refer to a paint sceme based of one in the codex, LOOK FIRST! And seriosly, AN IMPROVMENT FROM LAST TIME?!?

I think you have done an excellent job on the skin tone, it's notorious to paint such small faces well and consistantly! I really like the blue colour of the armour and the weapons look fine to me! while i think the 'gems' suit the overall look of the model and compliment him, i'd love to see them done in a red to yellow fade, then it would look fantastic! :-) overall you have got a great painted eldar and if all turn out as good your force will be an awesome tabletop sight!

When I posted the pics I noticed that I forgot to paint the gems entirely. Epic facepalm moment!

I wish I could paint skin like you have here. Also love the blue and bronze, they compliment each other really well.

Don't beat yourself up too bad! :-) still looks damn good, would it be rude of me to pm you the colour i had in mind? what were you going to do with the gems?

Sure. I was going to paint them gloss green. But I really want to do them a little better with som OSL. Here is an example of what the gems look like when I am done with it.
I dont know how to OSL though. This is a previous Eldar I have painted.

I had a look and that green is really bright! :-) looks good though, I'm not sure how easy it would be to them like this but I'll show you anyway, if scroll down about half way there's a black marine with his eye lenses done and that's the effect I reckon would look ace with your scheme! http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/356350.page

The armor and skin came out great!

I agree with some of the others, you need to give this guy a base worthy of the rest of him.

And, the soulstones could use improvement. But, they are better than what I do (paint them mono-color and put on a gloss finish).

That green colour goes really well.

Thanks for the link I will have to take a look.

The blue looks really nice, and the flesh is excellent. The bronze could use maybe a little Brazen Brass highlight. The basic gem technique described in the Eldar codex and everywhere online really works, and is worth a try.

I'm moving this out of Showcase since it's an unfinished, unbased model.
