Wow, great job!

Your TS termie looks really fine (and far more dynamic than mine ). The only point that bother me are the heads on the shield.

If you allow me a criticism (it's just a criticism, not an advice because it's too late at this stage of your work to make such a modification) , they seem to pop from the shield like (which would be perfect for a Death Guard or World Eater Termie, but less for a Thousand Sons). Ghostly faces appearing on the surface of a shield is a great concept, but the faces are too thick and do not blend on the shield.

Otherwise your paintjob is above anything I could possibly do.

What are you going to use for the head?

Your Terminator looks very nice indeed - very impressive paint and posing. It doesn't really suggest either "Tzeentch" or "Thousand Sons" at all, though.

That looks great, And I like the darker tones for TS. Much more sinister

Hi thanks for the feedback and questions . to answer a few
1 On shield ye i guess the faces could have been thinned out alot more.
2 The sword is a mix of grey knight bits and the side spikes are cut off some chaos bits i had laying around.
3 reason for no head or helmet is it's still a wip so not decided wether to use a head or helmet yet..!
thanks again for the comments

nice choice of colors, and I think I understand why the nmm is more brown than yellow, but too me it doesn't look quite like gold yet, I think it needs a little more of a yellow hue to it to sell it as gold.

Looks great, your paint job is wonderful. The shield is going to look better once it's painted, and may I suggest a using the helmet? I always thought they looked better with the helmets

what he said.

Though I do agree about the thousand sons thing, one expects the egyptian symbolism etc. What are your thoughts on this?

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.

I had no idea what this mini was gonna be when i started painting it only reason i said it was thousand sons was the colour configuration was simular to theirs all i'm really trying to do is teach myself the the nmm technique..1 the face is dheneb stone washed with leviathan purple then redone with a mix of dehenab stone/skull white 50/50 then a final highlight of pure skull white... plus it's still a wipm so stuff may still change yet.. thanks for the question

I'm sure he will, he'd be a fine addition to any chaos force (or a prime display piece). You did a fantastic job on the blending... smooth as silk!

I take that as high praise indeed especially coming from a person who is only 1 of a handfull of people who can actually paint yellow to an incredible level so thanks again man really impressed by your wrk this long time

Thanks bullyboy, I really appreciate that coming from such an accomplished painter. Right now I'm mired it a ton of table-top painting for my two boys (Christmas presents), but after that I'll get back to some serious work. Though I must admit... hammering out a healthy number of "decent but simple" paint jobs in a very shot period is pretty rewarding. Not something I get to do very often.

I love the paintjob and the execution, i just don't think im fond of the interpretation.

EDIT:

Okay, I filtered your thread and read through your posts. I see that it wasn't your intention to make a thousands sons model, you were just testing, so bleh, remarks whining about your not making a true thousand sons are irrelevant.

I should suppose though that he does look a fair deal bit more like death guard or alpha legion. Either way, good execution on the model.

I think i recognize where the faces are from. am I correct in assuming you had an excess of marine faces and somehow had the means of slicing them all off and gluing them to the shield?
