LC are easily found on Terminator arms but quite rare for SM arms. Do you guys have a recommendation on finding a set of 5 of these for SM arms?

Yeah, command squad, captain, veterans can all take claws.

The SM commander box comes with one. That's all I know of though, I'm afraid.

Could cut them at the elbow then attach them to the powerfist arms I guess.

The SW pack has quite a few LCs in it.

Yes, I have the space wolves pack and there are quite a few lightning claws.

He's one of the Veterans, has a matched pair of lightning claws and comes with a kickass banner. He's £8.20 so not too bad.

Custom Minis has some. I actually got them commissioned myself.

The fists are going for 45 for 10 sets of and the claws is 55 for 10 sets

I think I remember them, there were power fists with plasticard claws. Looked easy enough.

They have some cool looking stuff, but their prices are outrageous...especially considering its Shapeways, which isnt nearly as clean and crisp as the metal, resin, and plastic parts other companies make.

Also I think your numbers are wrong...looking at their Shapeways page:

The fists (left OR right) are $4.03 each...that makes them $43 for 10 of each side, $86 for a full set (left and right) of 10.

The claws are $4.55 each, making it $91 for a full set (left and right) of 10.

I try not to dump on small companies...but that is totally, unacceptably, crazy expensive. Which is a shame...because I really like the claws.

If you check the material they use it is basic white for the singles. The 10 sets are fine material.

As for the bitz now beng as clean let me go get one of my Shileds that I commissioned. Now mind you it took me about a minute to clean up the Ultra Fine White which the fist and claws come out to.

Now off to get that shield

Those claws look really cool. Do they attach to an arm at the elbow??

Mike over at Custom Minis is a fair guy. He knows that people will not buy them in singles because of the response you gave.

This is why he has them in sets of 10 both left and right for the prices I gave

They cant, only veterans, who are warded terminator honours can ask for this type of ancient gear. Not all veteran with terminator honours use a terminator armor tough

Does dark angel sword or dark angel mace from the veteran upgrade sprue work? Which one is a better count as?

I would go for a Power Sword/Axe/Mace and count it as a pair of lightning claws, because the guy wielding it is such a boss.

It'll look better on the bike, too.

Space wolves claws I would go for. Space wolves rearly use them that mutch so they always have spares. Also, there are 3 pairs in the terminatour kit. The claws quickly become quite big so you might use them and nobody would notice sutch a big diference.

@AG: According to GW, the claws are retractable. That's why DA Chapter Master can take Claw + SS + Pistol + whatever.
@Niiai: Trying to ping my local players, noone seems to have them around extra. I think I might end up having to proxy mace and stuff.

The lightning claws on Vets and Capts. are the same size as on termies so all you need to do is caut the termie claw off at the shoulder pad and remove the block that comes out below the pad then attach it to a shoulder pad in the pose you want. Add green stuff to taste to tidy up.

You can pick up LCs on e-bay quite cheap or GW do a set of 5 pairs in the SM bits section on their site.

I think I might end up doing that. Pick up 5 pair of metal LCs for termies to replace the 5 pair of plastic that I will trim down for my command squad.
