Subject: Tau Battlesuit Titan Project

This is a work in progress on a project I first started well over a year ago, and have recently decided to finish. I know The Tau dont officialy have titans, which is why i prefar to call my creation A really big Battlesuit ( technical term ).
I will think up a proper name for it at some point, but for now we'll stick with Battlesuit Titan.
Most of the Battlesuit has been built from scratch using plastic card, with additional parts from two Tau Hammerheads and various other odds and ends.
Will post up more pics as work progresses.

That is amazing. It fits the Tau aesthetic perfectly, but at the same time it still looks like a titan, not just a big model of a battlesuit, if you get what I mean?

The first thing I think of is Gundam. Nice way to keep the tau theme going! I really like it, and would like very much to cry about its magnificence until some Orks loot it.

While rolling a die, do not say, “Anything but a 1!” unless you wish the die to come up as 1. Any other such attempts to anger the “Dice Gods” will result in the existential equivalent of continuously flipping a coin and having it come up heads every time (for reference, see Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead). Your dice will be cursed to roll ones for everything other than morale checks, which will come up sixes.
ORK PLAYERS HAVE A LIMIT OF 1 SCREAMS OF WAAAAAAGH PER HOUR. violators will be forced to play tau.
Players with chimeras and las weapons shall pronounce chimera ki-mere-uh, not chim-ere-uh. Violators will be forced to play nothing but world eaters. Non-40k personnel must purchase and build a chimera. |

My thoughts, exactly - you've struck a balance I've yet to see in a Tau titan (and not simply because the majority have been cannibalized Gundam models). The thread title made me expect a scaled up battlesuit - which would have been cool, in its own right - but this is far more elegant, intricate, and original than I was expecting. REALLY hoping those commissions of yours are quick jobs.

Simply mind-boggling! The design is very tau, yet bulky enough to fit in with the overall theme of "gigantic metal bawxes on feet" that GW seems to be running with ALL their Titans (except eldar).
