Thanks, I'm really happy with how they turned out myself, previously I've tended to be the, paint it and stick some grass to it type. It's been something of a learning experience to attempt something more complex like these.

For Azazel, I got a couple of stretch goals done today.

First, a surprise stretch goal! I painted up my (very) small pledge from Brigade Games' Apocalyptic Wastelander Kickstarter.

Then, I finished an actual planned stretch, Nemethis the Sacrilegious Devourer Priest from Confrontation.

I'm back. Hopefully/probably, though I may be a little sporadic for a little while, as I'm still dealing with the personal stuff and work is heading into a very busy season (again). Very cool to see the stuff finished above in the last week or so. I started painting again a little while ago, and the first things aren't ready to show, and I've got nothing challenge-related done so far. It could very well be just a pair of character models for this month for me instead of the 2-3 units I'd planned to have done in addition to the characters.

At some stage, I'll fix my photo for last month. I've updated the OP but it's possible that I've missed someone's work, or accidentally placed May models into April. If I've done either of those things, please just post here and I'll fix it.

I think you missed my April submission. All I did was some drones, but it's something, right?

Late as hell getting my April submission photo in but things have been a bit hectic of late. Didn't get a huge amount finished last month but very happy with the stuff that get get finished.
So here Aprils finished figs.

For May am going to get the Thanatar finished (which I have as of last week) finish up the 3 stealers and 3 termies from space hulk, build and paint a Mad Larkin vignette (need to get a move on on that one) and as a stretch goal, finish painting on The Nurse. Fingers crossed!!!

What's this another mini already? I'm doing rather well by my standards this month.

That's the Ashman Hakar from the WoK starter box. I'm working on the regular Ashmen next, got most of the base colours done already and I hope I'll have them done in the next few days.

I almost thought that Hakar was a LotR figure with the colors. Interesting choice.

I'm so used to seeing the Ashmen so hard up in blacks and reds it through my brain for a mental loop there.

Interested to see what you do with the rest of the unit, especially the Pelgarth ladies- they're in the starter, aren't they?

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

I thought I'd do something a little different, I wasn't aiming for a LOTR look but now you mention it I can see what you mean. I like the look of the studio Nasier paint scheme but I hate painting red so I changed things a bit and got a little carried a way. Not got any Pelgarth, they're in the faction starter set not the 2 player starter.

I have been unable to muster any enthusiasm for working on my RT orks - I have 3 killa kans staring at me that haven't even been undercoated yet

But in the spirit of finishing things off, I did manage to get my Fire Wasps knight done, so I will stick him in this thread regardless

Do you have a combined pic of all the WM models? And do you have one of the Marines as well so I can include them as well.

The first pic of the marines has all of them in it (it is a pretty bad photo, but I won't be able to get near those models for almost 2 weeks), I'll grab a pic of the Warmachine models together tomorrow.

Also have some of this month's pledges done, Deathjack and the Gatormen are finished. Will get pics of them tomorrow with the rest.

Next up, this month, Deathjack and a Gatorman Posse:

Next on the bench is 60 Termagants, but they'll be a goal for June because I won't be starting them until the last weekend of the month.

Denethor, Steward of Gondor. More pics here.
Due to the events of this month, I've gone for a single character for my Gondor submission in May. The Undead unit was pretty much done a few weeks ago, and I'll get the last touches done this weekend. If I get anything more done this month, that'll be great, but I'm not going to be too fussed...

Thanks guys - I'm quite happy with how he turned out. I almost always seem more fond of figures that have "turned the corner" like that - ones I didn't like until I finished them (or renovated them!)

Cozy cockpit of an Archer ARC-5S

Always a joy to see well-done zombies. Especially when you manage to get some variety out of Mantic's limited set of options!

On my end, a pair of long over due tanks (these were supposed to be done back in April, but the gakker that I am, I got distracted), finally done! Except for commanders of both vehicles, but details yes..?

The second Dracosan armoured transport of my Solar Auxilia cohort. I decided to keep the decals simple, like with the first one and went with nice contrasting images that don't stand out too much from the overall model.

The Malcador "Dauntless", with extra overpriced decals from Dust. I've decided to have most of the crew positions, minus the commander and main gunner up top (due to a lack of space and more name decals in the same style), paint their names near to their crew positions. Not shown (due to a dodgy decal on the other side) is the name "Amanda" on the left sponson. All that remains now is to track down one more "Dauntless" name decal and to seal it all in.

Now, on Sunday I should be picking up some new brushes, meaning I can start work on those Veletarii I wanted to do weeks ago!
