They drop the high elf dex before Lone Wolf and im done with GW. I am sick of seeing a new codex over and over and over on each army that I convert and build. Its just that GW needs to get a time line going for product and codex and rule books. That way I can buy and build and enjoy for awhile before they axe it...

And if a Codex/armybook every 6 years is too fast for you, try collecting Wood Elves and Sororitas

I have been banging on about the Dwarves for ages. Great to have a bit of corroboration. But I must confess whilst the time scale from when I first heard about them would put them being released this year .... there seems to be too many other releases for them to be this year as well. Serious money-making proposition there. Although I'd be a bit bummed to be simultaneously starting the "latest thing"... my likely doing chaos dwarfs should fix that, though.

Ooo. That'd be cool. From a competitiveness standpoint, they don't need it as bad as some, but from an interest standpoint, they need it kinda bad.

You really gotta be focused to make them more than a sit and shoot army. I won't wishlist here, but suffice to say I'm interested to see what they do with magic, the runic system, and what they do to add enough maneuver to the army to add a little spice.

High hopes! Thus far I've been pretty impressed with the internal balance on most of the 8th edition books.

And that's exactly why I didn't want them to get any attention this edition, beyond Forge World.

It just means: Dwarfs are close, but not that close. Rumours point at first half 2014. Expecting 4 army books this year (Daemons, High Elves, Lizardmen and Dwarfs) in addition to 4 Codices (Dark Angels, Daemons, Tau, Eldar) was a bit optimistic. Doesn't rule out a small wave though.

Either way, cannot wait to see what is after Warriors of Chaos. Those... were lukewarm for me.

Personally I'd love to see High Elves get Drakes as a new Rare choice for bigger, badder Dragon Princes!

Simply because it would give me the impetous to get back into my Nagarythe/Calador themed HE army I started a few years ago and then shelved due to how badly 8th edition screwed over my mainly skirmishing/cavalry centric force...

Of corse, the couple of games I did get to play with my initial 1500pts in 7th were awsome!

I do hope for some more HE rares. Bit tired of seeing just bolt throwers and eagles

And methinks bolt throwers should get a tad bit cheaper

I'm liking the sound of the Wood Elves! Hopefully my Dark Elf spearman conversions of Glade Guard don't become obsolete!

Pretty much spot on, even with next years order, also expecting next WFB next year, I think Harry has also pretty much said this is what he expects too. I have a very good idea whats going to be in the starter..... but I'm keeping it under my hat for a bit longer
