Hopefully they'll at least look half decent when I do.
Thanks for dropping by as well.
Anyway, it ended up being surprisingly quick (well sort of quick) to sculpt the loincloths onto the squad.

No problem Like I said, I've been lurking for ages but it's a bit intimidating coming in to a thread that's already 20 or so pages long. I got linked here when I first started my chaos thread, your stuff has really been inspiring.
I like the loincloths on the daemons, I think they'll really help tie them in with the ones you already have.

Jeez its like attack of the Aussies in this thread at the moment.
Not sure if you've done flash cleanup yet but there is a huge curved bit of flash on the raised blade of the 3rd model on the right in the 1st pic.

Ugly? Fugly?
They're not cheaper than the actual Daemonettes sadly but, cheaper than the $100+ the Diaz ones seem to always go for. The two blue ones are currently soaking, but there's these ones as well.
Gets my icons and instruments out of the way as well as letting those new RH ones into the army easily by being mixed through the squads, though I might just keep them as the core of this third squad. The other two are 15 strong each so far, this leaves me bringing them up to three squads of 18 with an icon and instrument if I've worked it out right.

And that's a lot of instruments... do you really need that many?

Thanks Proto.
Got two squads already without instruments, so one each in the end.
Way it is all I need to do is get one Daemonette squad in and it'll bring the rest of the army (except the Daemonettes that have already tried to) planned for the tourney.
Primed the RH models and started off three of them. I kind of need to average about one Daemonette per day over the next two weeks to meet the tourney. But, thankfully these can be quite quick and still look good. Of course I'm not going to be rushing them anyway. They'll look good of they'll go into the lunchbox of Pine-O-Clean that has claimed a few sacrifices over its career.
One of the things I also noticed is that I had meant to have the Daemonette skin tone vary, then went with the same tone after a while instead of mixing it around.
And that center face with the flash I didn't notice even after trying to clean it, going to make it a scar. Automatically Appended Next Post: Yeah I'm updating fast.
Here's the first three, just need a few touch ups here and there and their hair then they get put aside and wait for the rest of the RH ones to be finished so I can varnish them all at once before finally doing the bases.

There's a few with odd faces, but that's more likely me sort of rushing through them.
I'll come back to them and touch them up a bit when they're all more or less done.
These three I might highlight the skin again a little more.

Thanks guys
Not much of an update today, played some more games and continuing to plan on them being weekly. First up was another match against Krellnus. He was using his Tau, while I was using the Daemons again. Chariot actually managed to do something for a change when it zoomed out from behind a building into a crisis suit and did 15 hits pretty much just running it over. Ended up with a tie for that one.
The second game was a practice run with the tourney list so I was teamed up with the Dark Eldar. We were against Blood Angels, who pretty much destroyed the Daemons by turn 2; a few managed to live on to the next turn. One of the RH Daemonettes (the leaning over one) was the sole survivor when that fresh squad ended up shot to pieces in a single turn by a storm raven. She then proceeded to run into cover and head for the closest Razorback before being gunned down. Though she was the Daemon that lasted the longest.
The warpstorm table hated me. Both games lasted for five turns, I got the result which reduces my invulnerable save by one about five times. Which means 50% of the time, the warp table wanted me to lose badly. Though it also hated crisis suits when it came to the cooler powers.

Edit: Forgot the picture.

And done. Though I may give them touch ups in the future.
First a somewhat cinematic shot with some poor guardians. Perhaps a hint for a later project?
I didn't have the time, but later on (if I get more) I'd like to get a squad to about the quality of my Masque conversion.

Thanks man.
Well looked at the calender and noticed I have about four days left before the tourney, and just primed the last ten Daemonettes more or less now.
Took some time off of them before and slowed down to spend more time with my bird, Rosie.
She looks a bit shocked since I think this is maybe the third or so time she's been out in the yard. So she finally got to see the Ringnecks that are almost constantly having shouting matches with her and the large flock of Cockatoos and Corellas here at the moment to visit and strip a couple of trees down... So many parrots.

I'm jealous of your parrots. We mostly get noisy minors at my place, they flock outside our windows and scream at the cat.
Wow you're powering through those daemonettes. Are those the last 10, or do you have more after that? And are you going to be painting them in the same paint scheme as your other daemonettes?

Ah, hate those things. We used to get a ton of them but the crows chased them off over time. Then the grass parrots show up since some of the wild ones like one of mine and they're pretty territorial so chase them away as well.
Seems to be as well you just need to have a Cockatoo as a pet once and you become a permanent rest stop for a flock. Corellas never showed up before we had one either.
These and another two are all the Daemonettes I have left at the moment.
Got dragged to the GW today and got two more of them painted, just need to be based and they're done.
I also walked down to the FLGS just down the street from it and got a few things for later.
I'll just leave this stock picture as sort of a teaser for now.
A hint is that gun is not staying and only some of you may see what's coming from this in the future.

Demons are looking great. I've never realised till now that the demonettes have tails. I'm not sure how i feel about them. What have you got plqnned for the infinity model? S.O.B conversion or Eldar ranger?
We don't have a problem a problem with minors at my house any more. My cat uh... dealt with them... yes lets leave it at that. In fact we don't have a problem with much of anything be it pest birds, cats or even the local mutts. The cat kinda keeps em all at bay. He's a feisty little beast. All this bird talk though has got me thinking about the budgie i had when i was little. He was feisty too. Used to get into brawls with our old cat.

Ah a Farseer. Wouldn't have guessed. Would also probably make a decent harlie with a little work. Her gun does kinda look like a reaper cannon.
What craftworld do run? I think a craftworld like Ulthwe, Alaitoc would look better with the Owl while Biel-Tan or Iyanden would be better with the Pheonix.

Well I've been running my own Craftworld thus far, but been meaning to sort of reboot them.
Sort of goes with the theme of dawn for the striking aspect of it led by the Autach which is supposed to be sort of the vanguard, with the support and planning being more the dusk and coming up at the rear led by the Farseer. Has a bit of background to it since it was my first real army. I'm still undecided if this'll be a new Farseer or a remake of the original one I have, if it is I'll also remake the Autach as they were supposed to be twins for some reason. Easier when the Farseer always hides her face behind a helmet.
