Is that skulldozer as extreme as the Mantic 's Female Enforcer Pathfinder Sniper on Infiltration Bike? I can't tell which idea contains more committee-designed "all things to all people" attributes.

Personally, I think it needs more eagle.

One of those Necron vehicles looks like the Necron abattoir. The other could be the Aeonic Orb perhaps...

Not so much.

I think the Lord of Battle/Helknight/Lord Skullington can be fixed with the right head. The head it has right now is what makes it so incredibly herp-a-derp stupid. Those Monoliths though? Wow. I am impressed.

You noticed that too, huh? It intrigues me more than the flying Monolith.

It's really easy to make a walker (knight or titan or whatever the scale is) as well which makes it a lot less stupid. In fact then it's pretty awesome for a Khorne model (bunny ears and skulls galore).

It's sides don't look slanted enough to be a fortress of redemption.

I know the entre thing is surreal and ridiculous, but did they really have to include a cannon right there, in THAT location?

You have to be surrounded by some really distorted human anatomy to jump to the conclusion that the cannon is lower mounted than the abdominal area.

Huh, I for one like the Bloodknight. But I never play Khorne. Hopefully It's a dual kit with something else.

The Megalith... I like the open one, but not the closed one.

If they make a model like that and it's not a foundation for a superheavy walker (that khorne thing is a walker from knees up) I'd be surprised.

I don't mind the "bunny ears" either. That's Khorne's thing. I wish the tops weren't two skulls having a staring competition, but still, there's nothing wrong with a combined head/Rune of Khorne. It's the face that's the problem. Maybe if it had that cool mask from the Defiler, or a Boba Fett style eye-slit rather than a idiotic looking giant possessed face.

Maybe a Cauldron of Blood as an alternate build. Looks crazy over the top cool.

I sort of expect that they'll have head choices for it in the kit.

Nothing a little green stuff can't fix. Not an excuse for making a silly model, but atleast we can fix it if we want to.

I'm currently really curious what direction GW is taking 40K. Is Apocalypse still a stand alone game or is it just a supplement to 40K? Will Titans, Stompas, superheavy tanks etc. become mainstay for standard 40K games? Business wise there's only one choice. Baneblades and Stompas have to be allowed for standard 40K. It will boost their sales skyhigh.

Well, new lith thing is a single kit atleast.
Both options from the same one.

You can see on the open one it has like a dog tooth type locking system for the panels.
You can also see that on the closed one, im guessing its ment to be a visible join?

Other than that, they are detail for detail the same.

I think you can sort of judge its scale, those exhausts on the side look like they are straight off of the forgefiend

A Lord of Battle/Couldron of Blood would be a fantastic dual kit.

To me it looks like Baneblade tracks and hull. That's the scale.

I note, with interest, that the "megaliths" are on flying bases. More data to judge scale from.

Whelp Khorne got their clown car now.

But oh well everyone has their own tastes.

Poor ignorant guardsmen, it be but one of many of the great miracles of the Emperor! The Emperor is magic, like Harry Potter, but more magic! A most real and true SPACE WIZARD! And for the last time... I'm not a space plumber.

Honestly, the Khorne thing doesnt look that bad. And whats wrong with it (the face...) isnt a hard fix. Just slap a spare Defiler helmet peice on it, or a Jugger head if youre feeling adventurous. The Arm length problem noted also wouldnt be impossible to fix. Overall it has a few easy to fix flaws so should still be worth it.

The mega-monolith are ok. Looks like some kind of super weapon of doom inside. Maybe they will be very tough to kill in the closed mode and more exposed after they open up to fire that weapon inside?

But that ing transformer thing of Khorne. Did the design team get some kind of mental breakdown!
I think there is details that are nice and I understand the idea to make something inspired by the old epic model.
But the result is embarrassing. The placement of the dick canon, the torso, ugly face and the short arms.
The hydraulic things in the waist?... Ahh... please...

There, fixed it for you. They didn't just go to the past, they went to the past and then made it look stupid. It wasn't exactly kingly to begin with, but it looked far better then the abomination on the WD cover.

No, it really didn't.

I really don't get the current fad to call everything coming out "toyish"...scratch that, it's only the big stuff that's being called that. If the stuff lately is toyish, then so is the Stompa.
