in onther news... this lil fella isn´t lazy anymore... well in terms of hobby work at least... and lets face it boys and gals... that´s the thing that counts!!!
the following cryptic pics show the WIP of the price i am making for MrMerlin for winning the cookie package terrain building competition...
and i have to make it quick as i promised to enter something for his competition as well...
note: the emperors champion you currently see there is only serving as a stand in...
no robot dogs are being made here... that at least i can asure you of...
this will be in the fullness of time a shrine or better a statue of rivetto and like the updated threadname states a fountain...of course riveteer style^^

I'm an American working in Europe, and I approve this message

yup... tormorrow i will do some basic work on the fountain... so it will be recognizable... the plan is to get watereffects done without relying on water effects at all...
Its like one of those snooker trophies aint it, but it's a robot ha how cool is that, I hope he will be holding a cookie in one hand and a small packet in the other then
only if you take the arrengment as a given... it was atm only to prived a better angle... it will be a biped robot... around human sized... hopefully i manage to shape it in a cool pose...fitting for the occasion...
Interested to see how the water effect comes out without using water effects. Perhaps PVA glue, patience and maybe a touch of gloss. Or even something much better.
dsteingass wrote:Fountain, Rivetto dog, leg lifted....?
LMAO!!! maybe for a scenic twist... or to come to think of it
and on other news... i also have joined these two competitions... i dunno where i can get the extra time for these... tho one sees that the amount of time for these might be helping^^
i was thinking of what kind of fluid look i wanted to go for... for now still the water idea is very strong in me... as only then i could do the water effects i want to try...
Soon, I see Vik's full of his tanks/men, and decorative items for a mini city.
Dave has a mini city already built or partially built, I imagine if he laid all his terrain out that he could snap a pic that would look like a movie set.
Vik's airship is almost a movie set unto itself!(I can see a not Indiana Jones using the whip to keep from falling off it)
the wire i currently use as a water flow i hopefully can substitute with clear fishing line soon...
the base as seen above is the base for the upcoming rivetto... he is currently in the making still... possibly tomorrow some new pics on this one...the plan is... to give Mr.Merlin a fountain terrain piece that he later on might change with a new statue of his own design... so the base and the rivetto mini wont be attched permanently to the fountains plinth...
the surface of the wall will have to be plated and then riveting is happening...then i will fill the fountains "bath" with a mixture of sand and PVA to get the right level... set the plinth inside and arange the water trickle and when the robot is finally build painting happens...
OK I am interested to see this develop, but to be honest at the moment it looks like an upside down cup with wires inside a cardboard bowl, if thats your look its brilliant LOL
lol... hopefully it wont end up in the garbage bin
thanks mates... much more will happen... if i don´t get the clear fishing line then everything will be just painted on... and later on made look watery...we´ll see what comes first...
ah... but with orks... that is a sort of quality feature

wel still have some with these madly cheery penguins left from last christmas... and if you think about it... i used these too to make the surface structure on the terrain piece i did for the first LoER comp...
actually if i would want to make some points with my wife... then a penguin would be a good start... as she likes these lil creepers... but me... i wont sully my cool terrain pice with watered dqwn birds...
well... currently i have a bit of time at my hands as my thorat is still sore and this provides me with free time... when i am again clean and healthy... that changes for the worse again...

The Irony of Dwight Schultz playing Murdoch's doctor was hilarious.
the film i think was quite good... tho i have to say... the show when watching now... looks/feels a bit unintended funny... or was it meant that way and i didn´t get the joke? hmmm
penguin gargoyls... with rivets... i dunno if i am able to do that... and on that tiny space...would look cool no doubt about it in RL tho
Automatically Appended Next Post: well mates... as i joined again the LoER terrain building competition i will show here my progress... theme this time is building a fighting pit...
i will do some kind of arena... steel clad all around... and two teams of combatants will battler therein...
these models will have the bases to go into the childe and comrade panda bases competition...
and the two leaders will be my entry for the leader competition of nerdfest...
so sorry dudes if you now offer me more competitions in the next two days... i think i got my hand full atm
well LDD... the green foam stuff is actually for silencing parquet floor... you get a package of 5m² in ten sheats of 0.8 x 0.67 m with a thickness of 5mm... it is slightly emossed... but that gets lost if pressed too much...
i´ve already built my treads for the big red tank of mine from that material... i think it is very versatile... have forgotten how expensive that stuff was...
and while i think a rivetto gretchkin battle would be very cool... it will not happen this time... i have dug deep into my unused mini collection and came up with some i-kore minis...
these:
each team will have a leader... if you have an idea as to which ini that should be... i am open to suggestions...
and each team will have it´s own scheme...
and for the uac and comrade panda comp i will make some nice fitting bases from scratch for these atm 10 minis to stand on...
First pic leader far right jumping through the air lead with aggression second pic second from left he just screams I will kick your arse and then make you eat it
Those robot marine type look great reminds me of real steel movie, I would have 2 of those fighting
at inmygravenimage... now you lost me again... i bet you are referring to something three pages ago, right?
and yep... these mini waited a long time to see some love... and since they don´t really fit in with the rest of my stuff... i think they will do great in that dio...
and LDD... the two you chose have been my choices as well... cool! i fell justified now
Rawson wrote: While dioramas always held a certain appeal, I never know what to do with them when they're finished
I know what you mean to a point you kind of want to move things around on them and stuff, but you need to try and display them some where safe and dust free.
Viktor von Domm wrote: as for the look of the arena... i am atm planning some kind of dangeroom look...what do you think of this?
Doesn't look very dangerous. I had envisioned spinning blades, and spiked things, and wrecking balls swinging from the ceiling. Now that would be dangerous!

Have you not read the comics? that rooms more deadly than a room full of super villains with pms
thanks not_u indeed i meant something along the lines of the x-men´s training room...
and boys... it has everything inside... spinning wheel, armies attacking and rockets and laser beams ... you ask for it ... it has it yesterday...
and dave... that dangerroom of your father... yuck !!! i hope i will never need to fall for that kind of tactic with my kids
at mr.merlin...
i had thought of spectators... but i dunno how and which minis would fit... beside... you need many more to make it look right... so if i have 10 combatants inside... then i need many more for audience... i think that would blow up the amount of work no end...
at rawson...
atm i am going for dios rather than actual terrain as i am building more for the heck of it... no one will play with me anyways for the time being... so i can at least create some kind of small world to let my minis people it...if that makes sense...
Damn that work and family thing getting in the way of our fun! it always does that! even when you lock yourself away in a Nerd cave, they just bang the bloody door in to interrupt you!
lol... yep... tho my kids just scream^^... daddy... wanna toilet...and such things... or you have to get out of the mancave bubble and try to pry them from each others throats^^ they are aged 6 and 4 and quite talented brawlers^^
Automatically Appended Next Post: thanks for joining the fun nerdfest^^
well then i can hopefully spark some life in this thread with a new update?? hope so!
well... for the third terrain building competition of the ongoing LoER scratchbuilding incentive i today present to you my recent endeavors into scratch building and oh yeah even painting...
becuase i not only have to build a fighting pit... no... i will people it with combatants that have to battle it out to the death... and for that i have to do customized bases... again also for a compitition started by unearthly child and comrade panda... and then for nerdfest i have to paint up a leader for his tube winning competition... sounds like a bloddy hard job...? and rightly so!!! am sweating like a bear... no kidding only, but it sure is a challenging amount of work...
as you see here...i have build the major look of the ten bases that will enter the base designing comp...
well they are atm unpainted... so bear with me the lack of contrast.... maybe i get around and give them a wash tomorrow for a better look...
then i have started painting the combatants... two teams... six against four...i used mainly washes for the build up of paint coats... hopefully that was a wise decision...
the first team consist completly of female fighters... dressed in tight suits... and with a dashing green and purple combo...WIP :
and secondly... the blue team... consisting of battle robots... also still highly WIP...:
an then i had to redo from scratch the whole arena set up... the former thing was way too puny looking for me... and i don´t do puny... i do enormous...
so i started on a fresh wooden plate and built up from there... leading to this:
and to see the scale:
still lots to do but i have lots of fun and still a bit of sick at home leftover time at my disposal so i hope in the comming two days i can achieve quite a lot of the groundworks...
adamsouza wrote:Looking like you are off to a great start.
Is this for any particular game, or just a diorama ?
i think it could serve as a paygound for some very quick skirmish games... but it is only a mere diorama... i am still not a player... so i just do it for the fun... and i need so much training painting minis^^
at LDD... i wanted to do some mostly wash painted minis for a long time... thus i experimented with leviatan purple and my old citadel green wash... i like the mix... do you think if i add a bit of orange to the females that would be too much?
and well the curved try is not ruined... its just way too feeble for this idea... if i put the ten minis inside it looks as if they are waiting cramped together for the next bus thus it got redone... beside... the curved section would have been a hell of a troublemaker for getting the upper audience section done... now with the more blocky version i look more comfy into the future...
at comrade... have you looked at the bases? i am very unsure as to the rather dull look... i have to maybe add some effects there... tho i am unsure as to what to add...if i add rivets to the tiles then i have to do that on the complete floor...
Hold of on the orange I think, but if you have time for a trial on one might work just to get an idea.
Yes, I see your point on the curve section bitch to work with, but it was cool the new section looks good, I see a lot of clean steel sections now though more a futuristic theme.
Waiting for a bus I fell of the chair reading that LOL, this vision of this lot standing in the rain moaning where is the bus

see mr merlin...took me some time to figure what to do and what would suit the needs^^ ... so a few days and then i am hopefully done... you want it painted by the way or not? you are of course the better painter by far^^
and childe... now it makes sense... but to be frank... i still have yet to see the new take on the tron story... the old one was ok-ish^^

hmmm... where would you think i should add a bit of orange then? garters? or where else? got four more minis that have only the purple done to them... so always room for improvement and trials...
ok... i thought you meant a tri color mini... the ornage purple mix could work too... do you think for a squad of female warriors a sort of broken up unifrom look would work? as i will do six of them i could do three versions... atm i have two with purple and green... next i could do a purple orange mix... then a orange green? and i will do a more detailed shot now... so that your ideas may flow better^^
No, that was what I was asking LOL, I thought you meant all 3 colours on one mini which might look a bit OT, but I like the green and purple has the comic book uniform feel.
If you mix it up they might start to look like teams rather than a group, but its what works best in your mind mate
well... no painting today... i went through the price bitz again today dave and found the minis of void from you they will get their airtime later on for sure...^^
and today i went wild on the arena building itself... made some major additions to the bulk... i think the pictures will speak for themselves...:

some obstacles
and here are again some better pics of the female fighters...
Spoiler:
the already two colored ones...
and the still foud for thought ones...

The females are looking pretty cool so far but more paint is needed.
what you don´t say... i made the pics so that you could tell me where and what should be painted ...
and it is huge... it created a lovibly smile on my wifes face even... and in my backbrain i now need more pink foam and a new board so that i can create a true gaming table...like bloodbowl only deadlier^^
Nice going vik, that is a big beast you have there
I think the varied look could work, purple/green, purple/red, purple/orange ? Or maybe two groups of three girls, rather than three pairs?
The purple spandex pulls them together as opponents of the blue droids, having two different armour colours makes the viewer wonder about how closely they're affiliated with each other, adds a bit of mystique
Depends on which Pheonix your on about Vik... but go with the Yellow and green... as Aquaman is just pain gay as gay can be... look at the all the jokes he receives in TBBT
I have the girls with Yellow hair(Mihoshi)
Green-Kiyone
Red-Washuu
purple-Ayeka
blue-white for Ryoko(That one is the 2 weapon gal with the ungodly strength)
Vik, you're a bit of a terrain wizard, you know that? The arena looks ace - can't wait to see how you paint up the combatants! I'm a big fan of weathered orange or blue armour for an arena team, something like this:
Spoiler:
Not sure where that image is from, but it seems to fit pretty well!
and thanks for the high praise scarper!!! i am blushing atm^^
so i take it you think i should do the teams in weathered armor? ... for the girls that will be quite hard as they only wear...what we might call boobarmor^^ the robots... yeah i think i can add a bit of scratches and so on...

The pic is from a free to play MMOFPS called Monday Night Combat. You can get it for free through Steam. Its fun, and a nice distraction from all the fall-out, skyrim and borderlands madness...
thanks hazzer! and this piece will soon get finished too!
at adam... give in... you know you want too... beside... i want you to want to!!!
at maus... hmmmm.... well cheap is my middle name^^... *investigating*
at klaus... LOL... well... you have to give me the measurements of the zeus... could be a bit narrow^^ ... the driver has to be able to get out of the garrage then in reverse... if he is that competent
well... he who waits will be given something worth waiting for^^
so i will then reward you with a nice scratchy update...
scratchy i say? yes as i did my first feeble attempts at weathering on the fighting robots for my arena... also i dabled with decals... but see for yourself... C&C on these would be highly welcome... there still WIP but the basic things are already done... visors are atm something that needs further works and for some a further wash is in need too...
and then i want to show you an idea i had for the floor of the fighting area... currently i am thinking of adding cardboard tiles in a hexagon shape... what do you think?
The weathering is subtle and effective because of that. The overall paint job is very neat and I would say above the high end of table top. When it comes to weathering less is always best. It would be interesting to see a photo showing both factions together.
I think for the arena, guessing you plan to tile the entire floor? How are you planning to paint them? Sort of glass/holo field tiles? Might be worth thinking on the light blue/dark purple end of the spectrum. Watching the competition thread with interest
at LDD... well the robots have been inside a big ebay lot i got for my sons army... then the comp came my way and i had an idea all of a sudden...
indeed i used a small sponge...
somethin akin to the one labeld "B77" in that pic...
and also a Q-tip and a very thin bruch... and on some places even a toothpick...tho that one didn´t produce the wanted results^^
as for the tiles... what is it that doesn´t work for you? care to explain a bit?
at alpha...
thanks mate... i am still really unsure of the weathering... my first attempt really... i think i went rather carelssly on those models... but for the rather random aplication it worked quite well... the leader was the only one that i weathered at first before adding the decals... what do you think of these then?
and then the rest got decals as well in one go... then i added their scratches... after that aplication of badab black and devlan mud... to dull the decals and then make everything as grimy as possible...
as for your idea of the tiles... sounds totally wicked... but if you have some referrence pics to that it would be greatly apreciated...as of now i have no idea how to achieve that... but i bet that would be good looking to say the least!
the other faction is the total opposite to the robots... the robots being rather simple and brutal looking while the females have big guns and skimpy clothes that i atm think need a total redo from scratch as i ruined mostly all of my options with these... way too spluttery aplication of the first go of washes... that needs to be fixed asap!
thanks mates... you really make me keep my motivation!!!
I will have to remember where I saw it. Some cartoon I think
The decals being done before weathering, does look a lot more affective as they would in theory be put on when the robots are new
They are very well done miniatures. It is the case that you can go over your thread and see the evolution of your painting (and modelling) skills. And is very impressive to see
the tiles are mainly a way to get rid of way too much blank space on the floor... something to add depth to the arena... also they are the theme for the bases... just painting somehing on these i dont want to do...
Are they fighting platforms
some raised hexes would be a truly cool idea mister... i will carve some with different heights tomorrow to see how this might affect the look of the thing!!!
and thanks LDD and alpha... i still see me as a mediocre painter with way too less patience in painting details... but comments like this helps me to do my best!
and the girl fighters will need all my skills i can muster to malke them pop
Dam giving you ideas again if it had been me I would have arranged them in a large hexagonal shape as if it was the fighting ring itself, maybe with 2 or 3 raised platforms.
You could have the girl (who looks like she is jumping ) flying of it, could be part of the arena act platforms randomly rising there no more ideas your on your own.
As for you're painting skills they really have come on mate give credit where credit is due, plus that sponge idea is so stolen ……. well once I go through the misses make up bag …… again last time I used her eye shadow as a weather pigment and it worked
You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!!
Lovely!
I just spilled my sode over the keyboard - again!
Vik - I love the hex idea, I think you can really get this done with good effects and the varying heights.
So you didn't use the sponge stuff from a blister? That's what I usually use.
From what i see, you weathered with Boltgun, right?
What I usually do is use a rusty, dark color - scorched brwon mixed with black to do the sponge weatehring, and then I apply Boltgun for some areas, that show the blank metal - the fresher damage stuff.
Mainly around the corners and edges, where scratches and damages are to happen most often.
Don't get me wrong, your weathering is already looking good on those dudes Cheers
Klaus
hey klaus, when done i thought about a basecoat for the scratches as well... damn could have had that thought before... then i didn´t want to redo it^^ but you are right...next time for definite that way!
and i couldn´t find my blister sponge i keep using for such deeds... was somehow totally burried under tools and other crap methinks^^
and the raised hexes will definatly happen... that is now decided
and LDD...
eye shadow for westhering pigment? hmmm... my wife doesn´t really often use make up at all... maybe i should borrow her stuff then^^ and the female leader will be on on of the raised tiles... that idea is sounding very cool!
could be part of the arena act platforms randomly rising there no more ideas your on your own
actually i wanted to do this this way when you mentioned it in the first place
Well, in that case forget the first remark and do the raised platforms as you thought I first suggested then, and thats why I got the eye shadow as she did not use it, if you get hold of an electric blue type colour works great on steel machinery and thrusters ect.
Now Night mate I am starting to loose the keyboard ……. either tired or slightly drunk not sure which
Robots are looking good vik, nice job on the weathering. I'm with Klaus on usually doing a dark or neutral 'primer' first, then showing metal where the primer has been worn down, but not always. Just means the droids weren't primed before they were painted, all good.
Definitely apply decals before any weathering, they need to get the same treatment as the rest.
Make-up sponges are excellent tools, always good to have a variety of sponges.
Love the idea of multi-height hexes, certainly goes with the danger-room feel you were after.
thanks monkey... will remeber the golden rule of weathering for sure the next time i will weather something (now that i tasted the sweet rotting taste this will happen way quicker too )
i worked by the way for some raised hexes today... work progresses and hopefully i can show you my testings...
for bigger stuff to weather i will soon start using a big makeup sponge my wife gave me... nice textures i tell ye!
and graven... thanks mate... if you have a referrence pic i would love to see that... this will be my next move soon... to see how i can achieve that look...
and yes...
my makeup may be flaking but my smile still stays on
the last pic was what i had in mind too... i guess when i get around to do those raised bitz it will look that way... having had some difficulties to get the pieces done in a suitable way... have to do some more try and error stages before i can show you...
and the first pic well despite the mass of peeps standing everywhere around^^ i guess the look is very fitting... i guess i have to do now some research for tron tabletop ideas^^

Well I live to give. It's more the light show and colour palette that got me thinking, really.
i am more and more thinking about watching all of that ^^
i am a bit feeling disapointed in myself that didn´t see the tron possibilities myself early on... would have been a cool way to paint those robots in a tron like vision...
well... no point in grumbling over spilled milk, eh?
i did some more research and try and error dry fitting with some more hex shaped tiles of games we have at home...
which made me think anew about the shape of the tiles for the floor... i didn´t want to do million hex shaped tiles to cut a long story short... so i then went for rectangle shaped tiles...
first try... way too boring...
then my wife suggested mixing larger tiles with only a querter of the size tiles... which was the winner for me...
also you see the raised platforms... did them from tiles in a sandwich manner... this will give the columns some nice texture i can play with...drybrushing for instance...
then the empty walls gave me some trouble... but i thought better and then the obvious solution bite me... why not do the walls in the same fashion as the floor? exactly!
as seen here :
every detail is done with cardboard... the walls with thin cardboard... the floor with rather thick card...
the grainy pics i added as i wanted to show you the depth and feel of the whole scene... the ligt was only bulb light so please be patient with me^^
now i need to work on the upper section...
and i have made a most grave decision... there won´t be any rivets for this arena involved... as this high tech feel dio wont look suitable for rivtes... it is supposed to be sleek and glowy... hopefully i can pull that off...
exactly... that is the plan... how to achive that... well^^
for now i want to do the whole setup in a green going to yellow scheme...with some bright white higlights in the middle... the gaps in the tiles will be kind of bright light areas... dunno if you can follow me here...
for now i am a bit at a loss for ideas for the upper sections tho... should i repeat the floor tiles idea there too? or do you have another idea for me?
Looks groovy. If you repeat the floor pattern on the ceiling you clearly need someone walking on it, as if each side is gravity plates. Also, for that matter, someone on a wall too.
I'd add a couple more of the raised areas - lower than the tallest ones, and just maybe one or two coming out of the wall? Added danger/obstruction.
I think the spectator's area should be done slightly differently - leave the square sections for the actual arena, just to differentiate between the areas.
at monkey... yeah i think you are right... there needs to be a different style for the spectators area... i like the wall raised tiles idea...
i actually have already two sizes of columns shown in the pics...
you think i need even more and with more variation too?
as for the columns from the wall... surley not that big? more like the look of the thing?
will see about that... tho these might be difficult to handle as i dunno what the glue and material mix can take...
at garven... thanks mate! and see above... a mini walking on the walls... very matrix style^^ i like that... tho i dunno what i could do to make these stick to the wall long enough even to take a pic^^
Yeah, I think one, possibly two more raised sections on the floor would work.
For the wall I was thinking of some of the smaller tiles, it just had a bit more of a feel of the danger room if there were obstacles coming from a variety of directions. You could even have one protuding enough to have a figure perched on it.
I know this isn't what you mean exactly but I just want to say that when making my scenery I must have spent a small fortune on spray primer but a cheap airbrush or spraygun with a compressor and a single £10 pot of vallejo black primer would have saved me £££s. Never buying spray primer again!
I cant believe I am going to say this but I prefer the hex flooring it had a more futuristic feel to it and the new floor is like paving plus the same pattern on the walls looks odd to me as well.
I kind of saw them more as large sections in a brick pattern but metal sheeting, that on the wall would have looked pretty dam cool and shiny …….. sorry Vik but on this occasion I think the direction you have taken is the wrong one.
don´t feel bad about it mates... i know that hex tiles would be cool... but i couldn´t have done that in the manner to get columns and all those tiles in the right shape... one must face his skills...getting out of the comfy zone is one thing... hopefully i can catch you still with the look i try to achieve...
tho LDD and comradepanda... i apreciate the honesty of yours...
at bruticus... i got a nice (really nice) AB pistol... but i still have no compressor... until then brushes are my tools... and i can´t use spray primer atm as too much bare foam is used on this model... would ruin everything...
Hey Vik,
usually I don't really criticize my peers work, especially when it's such an awesome idea, but ...
...the hexes are so much cooler, that you're really giving away so much of the potential result, that I must raise my concern.
Please re-think the issue!
Work with the hexes, but don't stack them for the elevated platforms, rather use (for example)
a plastic rod in the center (maybe painted like some Tron neon pipe) and then do the "walls" of the elevated platform in clear plastic - like form a blister pack, or anything else packed in clear plastic (recycling for the win!).
I think this would look very cool and unique.
If you don't want to go for the clear look, please still go for the hexes, don't stack, rather build sides - maybe with indentions, which you can paint ala Tron.
The square tiles are great for the walls, but for the floor and elevated platform, hexes rule.
This is really a cool project!
Cheers
Klaus
Sorry Vik, you'll not like me for this... but I much prefer the hexagonal tiles... it's much more TRON like, and lends itself to the futuristic idea of an arena tbh...
but thats my opinion...
BUT Klaus says the same, so are you going to ignore him as well?
Me too for the hexes! I like how you shifted the squares by using the small ones to break the pattern and it works great on walls, but hexed floor is something every wargamer treasures...
I was just looking for an excuse to share the Cobra video really, I'm not biased, except the hexes will require more precise placement than the squares will, any small gap will be noticeable.
sorry to disapoint all of you hex lovers...(hey that sounds weird???)
today i went on for the square tiles... and primed the floor and wall section of the "pit" with green cheap paint... the upper section i covered in PVA but it was a fail attempt... after everything is cured i need to get most of it off... i tried to add extra structure and detail by aplying thin strips of cardboard... but it all looks wrong... so it needed to came off... which left me with a mess... that will be fixed tomorrow... i then will probably go for the conrete look i usually do with diluted PVA and tissue... we´ll see what this will turn into...
i know hex would have been better... actually my wife now says too... but it is now irreversible... yeah... well...
dave raised here some very interesting facts... and based on this i also chose the square ones over the hex shaped ones...
hopefully this doesn´t cause too much loss of followers to this thread
and childe... no one gets ignored
and dave... just love the many robot chicken movies!!!
Well I'm on the fence, tbh. I really liked the hex for all the trony goodness, but really like where you've gone with the square tiles. Yay, equivocator!
well... pear shaped...hmmm... pears are in essence green, yes?
then allow me to inruduce you to a serious dose of greeness....:
note, this time i used the automatic correction options of the dakka gallery as it looked more lifelike and way more wicked this way...
the plan is to add a thin line of yellow to white inside the creases/gaps between the square tiles... to have a nice energetic feel about the surfaces...
the upper section for the audience is just primed with the first color at hand at that moment then... so ignore the setup there completly... likewise if you have some ideas for this section...let them be heard
